Being "insulted" by Fergie's praise of his Juve performance in 99 is just mental. The whole "you wouldn't praise a postman for posting letters" analogy is absolute garbage. That logic suggests that no footballer is worthy of praise, ever, and it comes from someone who is a pundit who is paid to analyse, criticise, and praise!
That was one of the finest individual performances of recent times, and an utterly selfless performance to boot, knowing he wouldn't even make the final. He's received plaudits from all over for that game. I'm sure he wasn't "insulted" by the likes of Zidane and Xavi speaking highly of that performance, the twisted, contrarian cnut. His issue with Fergie just means he is refusing to accept a compliment from him.
Fergie was no angel. He's a ruthless man, as Keane is. But Roy Keane is also fecking barmy.
