Was it just some sort of misunderstanding? Maybe he thought Sarri was subbing him for injury, when his manager actually wanted Cabellero in there for the pens.

One of them will be finishedI think he might be finished under Sarri.
But it could be a tactical move! Caballero is a strong keeper on penalties AND he knows the City players - it’s a pretty obvious sub to be fair.
It's true. I can't put a positive spin on Kepa here even if I tryChelsea have Caballero don't they? He is a penalty specialist and one of the best in the world at them.
If he saves it its the greatest save in the world.Oh look, Kepa flaps at another regulation save down low and it goes through his hands.
That was the only thing I thought. If he thought the only reason he was going off was because of a perceived injury I can see why he'd want to be insistent to his bench that he's fine to continue. However it looks like Sarri wanted to make a tactical change and he's been overruled by his keeper, which is an absolute joke. Was it just some sort of misunderstanding? Problem is that that might only mean he misses 1 game.I think he might be finished under Sarri.

Yeah I'd like to see the relevant rules too.Should be sold. Player power at that club is a joke.
Surely though a player cannot refuse to go off? Doesn't the referee have to halt play and ensure the sub is made? Literally no idea what the rules are regards to that.
Jorginho is a massive waste of space, really poor player. Have no idea how many times he lost the ball today. These players want Sarri sackedHim and Jorginho have cost Chelsea a cup final. But remember don't forget about De Gea!!!
Well deserved I'd sayThe media are going to make his life very difficult from now on. Pure vilification.
Does interest me that subs may actually be optional for players and if they just refuse they could stay onYeah I'd like to see the relevant rules too.
There's no better way of getting the manager sacked than losing on penalties. It's the ultimate mark of disrespect. Losing in regular time just doesn't have the same symbolic power.Jorginho is a massive waste of space, really poor player. Have no idea how many times he lost the ball today. Did you see Rudiger holding off Sarri like a child to prevent him from speaking up? Sarri has been humiliated here, the dressing room is definitely lost. I feel sorry for him, he's all about football philosophy and the players have binned him quicker than Villas Boas.Don't underestimate what David Luiz did during that incident, he was whispering to him and was hardly pushing him off the field.
Where was the captain during all this?
