He was doubled the whole game.

Even with two Milan players on him, he was the best player on the field.

Silky smooth.
Unlucky to miss a wonderful chance, Milan GK was beaten already.
Missed a penalty, feck it.

He's the hottest player in today's football.
A relic.
Closest thing to a Ronaldinho.

Lucky for us we have Garnacho in that spot who's equally exciting.

Yeah; all looked too heady a height for them. All composure went out the window and their beautiful play with it.
Napoli have never even been to the quarter finals of this competition prior to this year. It's pretty clear they lack a lot of knowhow. Kvara was poor and Osimhen is clearly not fit. His goal was well taken though.

Yep, he showed glimpses of his talent with those two brilliant dribbles, but looked like a bit of a headless chicken otherwise.
He was marshalled pretty well and he was pressing too hard, trying to make something happen. When he got his couple of chances, he snatched at them. His quality is not in question and there will be a lot more to come from him I'm sure

Completely agree! We used to rate players that got fans out of their seats! They might float in and out of games, but if they showed 4-5 moments of absolute brilliance, they were applauded and cheered.

Moneyball has affected the modern game, where stats overshadow “moments of magic” and the magicians have disappeared, leaving us “less” entertained!

Such a shame in the big stage he let down, still incredible player but this shows he's still far from being world-class.

He seems similar to Sancho at Dortmund in the sense that he is exciting, intelligent and has great touch and technique, but doesn't seem the quickest. If people are suggesting that Sancho couldn't make it as a wide forward in the PL due to his lack of pace, then it doesn't make sense to want us to sign this lad.

This is actually a very good point

Yep.
Especially when you watch it live.

You could watch it a thousand times on the telly replay, but once you see it live, it's the best thing you'll see all day.

His skill is off the roof.
And the fact he tries it 10-15 times per match, amazing. His head is in the football.

Garnacho as equally exciting as Kvara?

I feel like the assessments and expectations around Garnacho have gone off the deep end recently
He's not?

I like watching Garnacho.
He tries shit, fails, but tries it nevertheless.

He's 4 years younger, plays for Manchester United.
If he keeps on progressing the way he did so far, yeah, I'll reckon he's gonna be better then Kvicha in 4 years time.

Not sure that's the case or even important. He's more like Messi or Bernardo Silva in the way he moves and is technically sound.

Milan put 2 on him yesterday, which worked for a lot of the time, but he still found ways to go through. Class player, and you couldnt put 2 on him if he played in a great squad where everyone would need marking.

If he goes to a top club, he'll be even better. I'd love him at United, but the price is probably insane. 4 years left on his contract.

Or as they put it "he could be one they consider". Up to the usual standard or journalism for the Express.
if they don't go for Osimhen and look elsewhere for a striker....i would 100% be behind this move as this guy is exactly the type of winger that OT would love

Would love this to be true..... can't see it though.

We do seem to be getting linked to quite a few high profile wingers though?

apparently he has a contract until 2028....they'd probably rather let osimhen go than lose Khvicha

He is the real deal. Word class potential. He will be the best player in the world together with Mbappe and Haaland.

Unless Qatar are buying us, soon, you can get even the notion of him coming to United out of your head.

Money talks but this guy talks so fondly about the city of Naples and the club quite regularly. He was asked about his future on Sunday and he did the usual "you never know about the future" but stated he wants to stay in Napoli for as long as possible.

Garnacho would never compete with Kvara. He’ll never be at that level. As good as he is.
There is literally no way of knowing that. Kvaratskhelia was playing for Rubin Kazan until 20 and not exactly putting up great numbers there.
Garnacho at 18 plays regularly for United in Premier League and actually doing really good, although still raw and inconsistent. 3 goals and 2 assists in 500 minutes which is a pretty good return.

I'd like to see another season of Kvaratskhelia before calling him a world class talent. Most of the teams in Serie A are awful, but it has to be said he has done decent in CL as well, even though he hasn't faced the best of the teams. Ended the season very different to how he started it, not having scored or assisted for more than 10 games in a row.

In a fantasy world, I'd love this guy at United, but another outrageously expensive winger at the club is way down the list of priorities!

Good luck in negotiating with Aurelio De Laurentiis. Unless we become a subsidiary of the bank of Qatar, I don't see this happening this summer. He'll want a world record fee.

100 per cent to the bolded part.

He's had a rollercoaster of a season, whereby he has been at times unplayable and towards the latter stages average to decent.

People are far to quick to jump on bandwagons, probably in the hope that can say they 'discovered' such and such player first before anyone else maybe.

This guy is obviously a decent player, but not someone we need, nor should be splashing ridiculous sums of money due to the fact he has had one decent season in a European league, whereby his club happened to be miles better than anyone else.

Let's see how he develops next season at Napoli once they have lost Osimhen for example.
Defences will know how he plays and it will be more difficult for him, as shown in the latter stages of the season.

Caveat: Rubbish source.

According to the Express Newcastle have tabled an 82m bid for him.

I don't know what is less realistic, getting him for that sum or that a player of that immense talent would go to Newcastle when every top club in the world would probably like him.

Buy him and play Rashford as a striker. Thanks.
