These Spanish midtable teams really know the art of utter and complete implodation.

Alba is still the best attacking outlet Barcelona have down the left wing.

That was Barcelona Instagram guy Aviv Levy who gave Griezman the glitter.

William Carvalho back to being sloppy. Think he's going to miss the calming presence of Lo Celso alongside him.

Messi and Suarez could get injured the whole season and Barcelona would still outscore both Real Madrid and Atletico. Hopefully Atletico have it in them to give them a fight. Not easy to do so when you lose your best player to the already champions but maybe they'll surprise everyone

That's because Atleti refuse to score more than one goal a game. I doubt they'd outscore Madrid without Messi playing all season.

Wouldn't win the CL though. Barca surely going all out for that after the disasters of the last three years.

Good for Barcelona being forced to play La Masia players.

They're just really good at home, almost unplayable if on form. Even with stars missing. If they weren't so gash away in pressure games they'd have got couple more CLs in recent years.

Madrid scored 63 goals last season, that's just 8 more than Atletico and 1 more than Sevilla. They probably would unless there's a big improvement with Hazard coming in.

Messi, Suarez and Dembele out. Arthur, Rakitic and Vidal on the bench... today is a big statement by Barcelona.

Atlético so solid, Griezmann waking up and in the meantime we will almost certainly not sign any midfielder.
Our only hope now is Neymar for who possibly we are the second course while he waits for Barça.

Wow that's a BRILLIANT goal by Vidal. Perez and Griezmann in the buildup as well. Absolutely brilliant.

With Mbappé and Cavani injured today, probably Neymar will not leave PSG

Brilliant goal Betis. Both Betis goals have come from very poor giveaways by Busquets and Griezmann.

Hopefully Semedo can hold down the right back spot and Roberto doesn't come near to it anymore. He's had a solid game.
