We started of quite poor but we've been better after the first 10 mins. Our defensive line and midfield lines are a lot close together than last season. No way teams will be able to play through us so easily.

Come on, the result against LA Galaxy was good but nothing to write home about, we were never going to thrash this Roma side so don't expect us to be amazing, we are playing with an inexperienced defence anyway
Evans seems to be the only one to have a good game so far, maybe Welbeck too. Oh, and James.
That Ucan guy looks a decent player, would rather have him than Fellaini.
We need a game like this, it will help hurry the decision making up. We will be back in the transfer market soon.

This is a much much better reflection of where we stand and what we actually lack. It's not even the defence. It's again the CM and our wings.
Wayne Rooney's first touch 
Interesting that the commentator just said that LVG made the players play a couple of 11 v 11 games in training and that they didn't really show him a great deal as the play was disjointed.
This game is reminding me of the nightmares in WC... Don't really look like a friendly match at all.
