Manchester United vs Kristiansund BK (Tue 30th July, 18:00 UK time)

They don't deserve that. They were heroic in defence and deserved to come through with a draw.
They were pretty poor. They tried, but gave so many chances away. That wasn’t a good defence performance from them in any way shape or form.

That’s made me more excited for the new season with some good signs there. Some exciting transfer news to boot. Still going to be real tough for Ole with any early stumble though.

Ole has his 16 year old son on the bench and 19 year old on the pitch..
What a day for him.

That kid is not 16.. but then again, the one on the pitch isn't 19 either
What? he's 16???

I want to see some ID

Really impressed that we played right through to the final whistle in a friendly like this. I really enjoyed this game. Great workout.

These "Can I have your shirt?" signs are getting out of hand.
At least it’s not as bad as that fella who got subbed on for them at the end. Came on just to say he’s played against United, didn’t get a touch, ended up with Marcos Rojo’s shirt. Almost as bad for him as never coming on.

Good to see the kids show courage, coming on shooting and running at players with no fear. Besides that and McTominay I have nothing positive to say about tonight.

Overall pretty pedestrian but another workout for the boys I guess. Amazing the difference a goal makes, albeit a penalty. Turns a meh game into a win!:D
Surely should be winding up now though. I’m not happy with that.

Makes me less excited actually, we have dominated games like this before and not managed to score a fecking goal. I hope it's not same as before, and well start dominating and scoring.

That sort of pass is exactly why pogba is worth so much, and why it’s worth putting up with him sometimes having a lazy day.

The ability to split a defence in a milisecond like that is so vital.

Energetic display but lacking a finishing touch. Greenwood and Chong are going to be great. McT had a very good 1st half.

not a confidence booster this game
Oh come on. Did you watch any of the depressing shite of last year's pre season? Jose moaning, never smiling. Even going as far as saying we'd never see the youngsters playing. Losing to BM,getting hammered by the Scousers...

I'll take a 100% pre season and remain optimistic. Last year we could all predict the shit that came

Pretty boring match but there were some positives.
We need additions still, but we knew that before the match.

I'm hoping that people will give him a bit of time. I can see what he is trying to do and I like the way we are setting up under Ole. I'm not expecting an instant fix to the mess that we have become but given time this style of play could bring us back up challenging again.
