Mike Summerbee

We completely dominated the game

Er actually United had more of the ball

Yes well I dont believe in stats

It's up there with Ian Wright - whilst appearing as a pundit - saying 'I don't want to talk about it' when asked for his opinion on England being beaten.

Sort of defeats the purpose of you being paid to be here, doesn't it, Ian, you hysterical spazzer?

Like the bit where he had a go at Redknapp, Redknapp face was priceless, he look like he was thinknig WTF! I need to get back to my Thomas Cook ads

Send him back to the home, he's had a nice day out bless him but it was obviously too much for him.

Edit: he just said kompany is the best center half in the league!

Not best, but Kompany had a good game, their best player IMO.

Frannie was the same when they wheeled him out last year and he had to watch the Scholes goal time after time. I honestly had not seem him since the good ole Forward with Frannie days.

There's not a particilarly big collection of ex City players with a high profile to do punditry(this is what Sky look for). I suppose they have Tueart, Marsh(never going to return to Sky) and they could slot Keegan in but the crop is not high. Hence, they are having to wheel out the same old jokers from the 60's and 70's.

'We hammered them'. 'We had more possession'. 'We had more shots on goal'.

United had two more shots on target than City...and 54% possession. Sumberbee 'I'm not a fan of stats'.

Cringe..

First class cnut, wish Paddy had been on there representing United would of been awesome :D

"We dominated the game and when I say dominated I mean in terms of possession"

*stats appear on screen showing United had the better of it*

"Well I'm not interested in stats"

Not best, but Kompany had a good game, their best player IMO.

Vidic and smalling had them in their pockets for most of it and were both (arguably) just as good, he did give smalling his dues though but by god he's deluded; Someday City will come to OT and rip us apart? Get real...

For those of you not old enought to remember, the incessant shite from Summerbee was exactly what his chairman Peter Swales used to come out with every interview. Not every interview just after a United game though, I mean every interview.

his little tantrum at the end made it all the sweeter:lol::lol:

'as i say'
'as i say'
'as i say'
'as i say'
'as i say'
'as i say'
'as i say'

illiterate feck

2-1 :D:devil:

I loved when he actually asked them to stop showing the Rooney goal and start showing Man City's great chances..

and when he said that he was unhappy that people were saying United's goals were better than City's goal... Yes they all count the same but people don't want to see City's goal again and again do they??

Paddy and him were hilarious last night on Countdown to Kickoff.

"We dominated the game and when I say dominated I mean in terms of possession"

*stats appear on screen showing United had the better of it*

"Well I'm not interested in stats"

 that's brilliant!

Do you ever get a mod around when a match is on?

You should probably see the mod log in the United Forum then. We can't be everywhere all the time.

He embarrassed himself, I thought he was going to throw a full on tantrum, the amount of completely wrong statements he made was cringeworthy, Redknapp and Yorkie looked uncomfortable.

Haha, he lost the plot and ended up making a complete dick out of himself. Don't think they'll be inviting him back to the Sky Sports studio any time soon.

"Simple as that."

I'd think he'd look back at that once he is less emotional and realise how embarrassing he was. He was so reluctant to give our players any recognition. Dwight Yorke's little grins whenever Summerbee was talking were telling, he was thinking exactly what the rest of us were.

It was hilarious, particularly when moaning about how many times they showed the Rooney goal. Made a complete prick of himself.

Summerbee "We are on a Par with them"

*Cue Sky looking at The Premiership Table with United 8 points ahead with a game in hand on them*

Was it Summerbee or bertie magoo?

Funny as feck..

We'll come here some day and take them apart....:lol:

This was brilliant. Loved Yorkie's smirk whilst Summerbee was having his mental breakdown.

It was ridiculous, he was employed as a pundit, not as a cheerleader, and yet he came onto the programme with a Manchester City tie on and a Manchester City suit. Good, balanced analysis there.

What an absolute tool of a man, bitter old fart he is.

Moaning about more attention being given to us after the match, well we did win you stupid old git. Moaning about us having to win the match by a spectacular goal, how else do you win matches FFS?

Then saying that City dominated the game, only to be given stats that showed we in fact dominated, then he said he wasn't fussed with stats
