Mike Summerbee

His ugly mug is the last you want to see if we have lost the game!

Can't City just cart him off to the old peoples home and be done with him?

He annoyed me so much with his incredibly childish reactions on a previous derby day that City lost, I'd almost be tempted to mute the tv if he's on tonight.

He'll be there. Nothing surer. What an enormous cnut.

But he did also say that one day they'd be back and take us to the cleaners....forward one year and 6-1.So he got his wish....good luck to him,he's had a frigging long wait.Let's keep him waiting a little while longer

He will be there for the entertainment value, I hope he is anyway. If we lose you turn it off, if we win/draw we watch his head explode.

The ideal scenario would be for us to be 2-0 down at half time then come back and win in4-2.

Now that would make for epic viewing.

What an absolute twat of a man. He's just come out with this:

"You couldn't have written that script. We won it because we're the best team in that division and this country by a long, long way. It went to the wire but that's what football is about."

I have no problem saying they are better than us slightly as they won the league. but to say they are the best by a "long long way" (and they needed to do it in injury time of the final game) is just a spasticated thing to say.

Does he not realise how foolish he sounds?

Let City think they are miles better. Suits us fine. We know different. A couple of good signings and less injuries and City wont be so smug.

he's very bitter. Obviously when you win it on goal difference - with the same number of points, he's talking shite. Nothing new.

Why let him got you wound up in the first place? It's a gloomy enough day without having to talk about Mike fecking Summerbee

They do have a best squad of players if that's what he means.

We all know they didn't work for that squad and the fact that even with a billionaires investment and a staggeringly lax attitude towards transfers, they still only beat us by the tiniest of margins suggests in reality that they were far less of a team than us - but one that was full of individuals of an absurdly high quality, never before seen by the Premier League. Thank god for Alex Ferguson and for the Financial Fair Play being brought in - if the rules were to remain as fecked up as they are now then City would win it for the next 10 years straight.

The fact that their victory is hollow doesn't make it hurt any less to see them win though.

He just on Skysports addressing the city fans saying " Can you hear me guys? Cos i hope Sir Alex can hear me!"

Let the coffin dodger have his 5 minutes of attention

If we win the League next season, it will be too much on the old bastard's heart.

I get that he's happy being an ex City player and all. But I doubt you'd see any of our ex-players act like that.

Have a bit of dignity you bitter fecker Summerbee.

Almost as good as Niall Quinn commentating Fanzone.

But yes, Charlton, Law and Robson represent the club well in public.

As for commentating and punditry Neville,Irwin, Yorke, Bruce and even Fletcher have all offered unbiased opinion. Class is permanent

Well to be fair he and City have had no practice with this victory celebration/speech stuff, so it's no wonder it all comes out as so petty and small time. Hardly an exhibit of class, but I can understand the excitement. He's been involved with City for 47 years and this is only the 6th major trophy he's seen them win.

 who gives a feck about Mike Summerbee?

yeah but why not just enjoy it instead of having to drag us in everytime just to have a dig? did he ever think that we actually dont care? let alone Sir Alex?

So my boss went to a networking event at City yesterday, where Summerbee was a special guest. When he told me this I jokingly replied "how long did he spend talking about United then?". Given I was taking the piss I was quite amused to be told that he'd been banging on about how we control the refs and SAF bribes them with lavish gifts when they come to OT.

Also said that if he was still playing he'd have gone right through RVP by now to put him out for a while.

What a bitter, small time twat, he embodies the club perfectly.

What do you expect from an ex-City player who looks like a fat cnut?

EDIT: Having read it, don't think adding the fat cnut look was necessary given the first part.

He doesn't look like one, he is one!

Aye. Look at the difference in class between someone like Robbo and him. I'm not saying United players, both current and former ones, have always been saints but that does say it all about both clubs.

He's probably in a bar somewhere talking about how City are above United in the league.

Then when someone tells him that United are 15 points clear, he will say he is not interested in the league table.

I saw Imrie Varadi at the City Leeds game....didn't recognise him!

I'm amazed he hasn't come out and said he thinks City are still a better side.

Because he's a fecking cretin, in case that wasn't clear.
