We did it with DDG for a bit, was that under LVG? And then DDG hadn’t made such comments. He was smart enough to stay out of the spotlight. I’d be more than happy for Mou to state in press conference before mondays match that Paul is not in the squad because, as he said himself, his frame of mind is not right. Is it that outlandish to want Pogba benched for more than a few matches? Don't sell him and cave in, just bench him for 10 matches and anyone who stirs shite. There are plenty of youngsters who are hungry to have their chance. I doubt their performances will be half bad either. Take a year to restructure and lay some law.
Didn’t we establish that this is fake?Tweet

100% this. You can count on one hand the number of genuinely top class games he's had for us. Get a not-so-talented but actually consistently good midfielder and we'd be a million miles better off.Just fecking sell him. He's such a drama queen and making a mockery of this club. Fergie wouldn't even think twice. I'm sure we can take the money we get for him, get in a good midfielder and strengthen our right wing with it. We will be better off as a whole.
Is that a real quote? Find it hard to believe that Scholes will get down into a word for word argument with a greedy agentTweet

You think this is Pogba angling for a new contract? He doesn't deserve his current one. This are just how contract negotiations go down on the continent.
See the Milan keeper renewal and how badly that went on.
Really? Offering the player to our rivals and explicitly stating that Pogba has plenty of suitors is not holding a club to ransom? He is basically saying pay up or let leave. Or, do you see this in another light in your own imagination?
You seriously think Raiola is saying and doing all of these things without Pogba's consent or knowledge? Maybe in your imagination the club may hold more power but that is counter to reality. Tell me, in recent history how have things ended up for the club when the player has openly declared a wish to leave? Especially in Pogba's case, he was a world-record signing that was meant to be a long-term investment. You think the club will let an expensive player like that go to waste if he continues to kick up a fuss?Holding a club hostage is advising a player not to renew a contract or something like that. Presenting his client to other interested parties is well within his right, he doesn't work for the club and the club has a say in the matter by simply saying Pogba isn't for sale and that's it... Ever heard of a ransom where you actually have a choice in your own imagination ?
I never said that now did I ? Ffs you imagine things that are said and you think Manchester United is in a weak position, I'm lost for words when it comes to such naivety. You seriously think Raiola is saying and doing all of these things without Pogba's consent or knowledge? What's the likelihood of the same thing happening here? 1.000.000 to 1? I'd certainly like to see that.I never said that now did I ? Ffs you imagine things that are said and you think Manchester United is in a weak position, I'm lost for words when it comes to such naivety.
Best recent example is Marco Verratti whose agent did more or less if not worse than Mino Raiola to shop him to Barca and with Verratti being seriously interested and wishful to leave PSG. You wanna know how the whole thing finished ? Verratti fired him (after being in 100% agreement of what his agent was doing to engineer a move away from PSG), made a public apology to PSG and its fans and extended his contract. So yeah football Raiola is defo not holding Man United hostage
If PSG, a smaller club in stature and prestige than Man Utd can do it, I think Man Utd can do it too....
If Pogba had 1 year left on his contract and refused to sign another one I'd get you but this isn't the case so you're completely wrong. Man United still hold all the cards at the moment.
Like a famous footballer once said "Only God knows". Tbh it's unlikely that the same thing happens to the same degre because Raiola has an excellent relationship with Pogba and he contributes into making him richer. The point is that Manchester United is still holding the cards at the moment but with each passing season, Pogba's (and Raiola) power grows. What's the likelihood of the same thing happening here? 1.000.000 to 1? I'd certainly like to see that.
Yh I'm not saying other agents think differently. It's clearly a job where they are in it for the money. The opposite is said of him from most of the players he represents. He doesn't tend to tell players to move, but if they want to move then he moves heaven and earth to make that happen (which is why clubs don't like him)
This has been said by multiple players.
As for Pogba being his cash cow, look every agent makes money from players, and so does every club by the way.
Yes, but he's got 4 years left on his deal which means their power is limited to doing things that will only tarnish his image, whether that is Pogba declaring his mentality isn't right or his agent making a fool of the pair of them on social media. The only positive thing he can do for himself right now is to perform and try to improve. The club are unlikely to sell him for anything that makes them look worse than they already do, and there is hardly a club out there willing to spend the money that allows Ed and co to save face. Tricky situation.Like a famous footballer once said "Only God knows". I won't be surprised that things go back to a normalish way when the transfer window is closed.Yes, but he's got 4 years left on his deal which means their power is limited to doing things that will only tarnish his image, whether that is Pogba declaring his mentality isn't right or his agent making a fool of the pair of them on social media. I'd pay to watch Fergie give this fat goblin pizza merchant a dressing downShitbag hahahaha
...you said Raiola doesn't work for the club which is true but completely ignore the fact that he has direct ties to Pogba who does and instructs his agent to do as he wants. So yeah, you are the one ignoring the facts and taking a very simplistic view of things. Furthermore, nice of you to give an example of Verratti but there will always be exceptions. But why do you ignore other players life Mahrez, Coutinho, Dembele, and even Ronaldo just to mention a few all of whom highlight the fact that players, especially "superstars", hold significant power? Did these players have just 1 year left on their contracts? You are just delusional in thinking that United is attractive to every single player based on our history. The truth is that money holds the most power and it doesn't matter if PSG is "a smaller club in stature" as you state, if they offer a player significantly more money he will want to leave.I never said that now did I ? I could have easily found other players, I just wanted to give you the best example. Wtf is wrong is you, how is that equaling to me ignoring the different other situation. An example is what it is, it ain't a general rule. I have never said football club hold all the power all the time, just that Manchester United, in this current situatin does and that's it. Manchester United isn't being held hostage by Raiola when it comes to Pogba, if you think so, you're out of your mind. No, you'd be a fecking idiot for thinking that....you said Raiola doesn't work for the club which is true but completely ignore the fact that he has direct ties to Pogba who does and instructs his agent to do as he wants. How is he being treated unfairly?I'm an opposition fan but Pogba is being treated absolutely unfairly
Friends and fans on Scholes, should not use Raiola's words to throw s**t at Pogba.
The He needs to sack Raiola, that fat doughnut has pretty much made the fans and ex players hate him even more. That fat feck is ruining his ManUnited career (although at this point, that is exactly what Raiola wants).Friends and fans on Scholes, should not use Raiola's words to throw s**t at Pogba.
Not everything Raiola says is signed off by Pogba.
Things definitely don't work like that. You just don't go about firing powerful agents just because he is mouthing off once or twice. The He needs to sack Raiola, that fat doughnut has pretty much made the fans and ex players hate him even more. Doubt it. That was agreed with Juve because Pogba was a free agent and Riola brokered the deal. He negotiated a sell on % for himself. He gets a cut of each of his transfers doesn't he ? So why should we be surprised he is once again attempting to move his most valuable asset.
The ban doesn’t cover all of the transfer window, and he will just get someone else to be the face of any transfer. This literally has no effect on him.Haha. I waited for this. Well deserved for that twat.
Now FIFA and UEFA need to navigate their own corruption and get a handle on those skyrocketing agent fees.
Credibility? I see an outstanding talent like de Ligt go for his services. Hopefully this will put a lot of people off.The ban doesn’t cover all of the transfer window, and he will just get someone else to be the face of any transfer. This literally has no effect on him.
From the players perspective does credibility matter when he can get you a better contract at a better club than anyone else? Quite frankly are any of these agents credible?Credibility? I see an outstanding talent like de Ligt go for his services. Hopefully this will put a lot of people off.
Kill joy. You're probably right. Coming at me with that logic. From the players perspective does credibility matter when he can get you a better contract at a better club than anyone else? Quite frankly are any of these agents credible?
I would love it if he was run out of the game! But clubs and fans aren’t the clients, players are, and bloody hell he deliveres for his clients, he’s one of the best.Kill joy. You're probably right. Coming at me with that logic.
Again with the logic. You couldn't just let me have this oneI would love it if he was run out of the game! But clubs and fans aren’t the clients, players are, and bloody hell he deliveres for his clients, he’s one of the best.
Ok - the ban will be the start of his downfall, and all of his clients will have left him by July... :-)Again with the logic. You couldn't just let me have this one
I do hope though we stop dealing with him altogether. Can't imagine Ole and Phelan enjoying dealing with him. Though I'm sure Ed is happy signing players to send shivers down people's spines.
Great effortOk - the ban will be the start of his downfall, and all of his clients will have left him by July... :-)
The profile of player OGS seems to want doesn’t really align with Raiola’s clients - but let’s see if that’s the case. You could however, argue that Zlatan and Pogba (both his clients, I believe) have been the biggest successes at Utd post Fergie?!
