They have a tendency to land on their feet.
They don't have Abramovic as their owner anymore. Their new owner has already proven himself to be completely incompetent. They're going down big time

My choice would be to bring Conte back but our owners want someone they can be friendly and chatty with. Doubt they want a fiery, explosive personality. But that’s what this squad actually needs. A take no nonsense, highly respected manager who won’t tolerate low effort players.

We have the wing backs for a Conte team, we almost have the midfield for a Conte team. We just need a striker and DM to play next to Enzo in the summer. He won the league for us with much less talent last time. And that was ALSO in a season without the extra UCL matches like next season will be.

Naglesmann is a huge risk for me.

I think having to work with Boehly after dealing with Levy might actually kill Conte. He should stay away. That being said I do think he would improve you a lot in the short term before probably losing his shit in season 2 or 3.

He will also cost £20+m apparently…

The issue you have is the next manager will want an even bigger deal that Potters too

Nagalsmann to be their Vilas-Boas of this ownership.
I miss that guy. Always hilarious to hear the commentators get excited about him and dramatically pronounce his name "biyashhh Boyasshhh" as they tend to do with so many players like Bruno Gimmarayeshhhh today.

Not sure who I want next. I know feck all about Nagelman.

Get Conte back in for a few months, that would be fun.
We played against him a few times when he was managing Red Bull Liepzig. Played a suicidal high line, lots of hardworking ,all rounder players. Beat them the first time because rashford scored a hat trick in about 5 minutes (the high line) and they beat us the 2nd time pretty comfortably as he picked every single weakness in our line up out. Lots of crosses to the back post and various other make wan bisakka look stupid based tactics. Played a false 9 against our back 3 so we had 3 cb's marking nothing for 60 mins or so. It was pretty impressive.
Hes a good manager, a systems manager. If someone is going to get goals out of your current squad and build something coherent its him. He's had a year at Bayern to shave off the rough edges and naivete and i think he'd be a good appointment. Possibly. Could do a Villas Boas too.
Conte makes a weird kind of sense though i think he'd be a terrible appointment in pretty much every other context.

We have the wing backs for a Conte team,
And what about when James and Chilwell get their inevitable injuries and he's crying because Gusto is too young and he can't be bothered to actually earn his money and find tactical solutions on the left?

I don't want that absolute maniac anywhere near the club again.

Nagelsmann has quite a generous reputation of being a great manager who was unjustly sacked right now. I don't think going to a club as poorly run as Chelsea are would be a good move for him personally. He's a bit overrated imo (while still being a very good coach). Going to a more stable big team would be a much better next step.

Nagelsmann is heading for Madrid at the end of the season, almost for sure. It's another one that got away from Perez.

Terry said that before Potter got the boot. Bit naughty to tweet the quote now as though he is putting his name into the hat.
I'll tell you something else that's a lil bit nawty. Big man Lionheart roaring on the Chels from the dugout.

First two names that came to mind I realised had already been there before. They’ve gone around managers too much

I think it’ll ultimately be who Boehly wants and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s someone left field. Like a coach from American football. Or John Carver

Perfect job for Conte honestly. He can continue shifting the blame in pressers when they don't do well since they're already in the mud and it could never be his fault!

Nagelsmann would be the "obvious" choice for me since he's proven he can do well with a team full of young players but I'm not really convinced he's that great of a manager.

I think we can all agree that John Terry would be a fine choice. Get it done, Todd - 14 year contract.

Getting an interim manager and recruiting Nagelsmann for the summer of 2021 was my top pick when Lampard was about to get the sack but can't say I'm too disappointed about the club recruiting Tuchel immediately instead and getting a CL title out of it.

At the height of Potter's struggles (was probably around Jan-Feb) someone here asked who I'd be willing to sack Potter for and my answer was Nagelsmann. At the time I didn't think getting him from Bayern would be in any way realistic anytime soon but here we are now with Potter gone and it just so happens Nagelsmann has recently come back on the market so the choice is obvious and I would still absolutely take him if he's interested in the job.

Maybe Nagelsmann is not the safest pick out there but for my money, out of the ones available he'd have just about the biggest potential to be a success and take our young squad to the next level.

Whoever comes in I just hope a deal can be done for them to take over immediately so we could still have a chance to push for the UCL with the new coach in charge. A potential meeting between Nagelsmann's Chelsea and Tuchel's Bayern in the semis would be tasty to say the least.

Surely Jesses Marsch is the obvious choice for Boehly. Show the world that USA can get it done !!

Real life Ted Lasso would be fun and they could do a documentary.

Putting club legend Scott Parker at the helm to right the ship is not the absolute worst idea. I mean it’s pretty close, but they could do worse.

Not sure who it's going to be but it's quite a good time from a manager's perspective to enter a club. It's not often you come into a club like Chelsea with little jeopardy within the league. They're achieving feck all this season so there isn't an obvious immediate target except improving results and improving players. Which is a basic expectation anywhere. Nobody is going to be shocked if they lose to Real either so that's a free hit.

It gives the manager a lot of time to assess this bloated squad, find a formation that actually works, and formulate some kind of plan to move them forward.

I think with some of the young talent they have bought it would be an attractive proposition for managers. You're replacing somebody that was so bad there isn't really anywhere to go but up.

What a poisoned chalice.
Not atall, because of the stigma of us and managers they will always get the benefit of the doubt they have little to no responsibility for the poor results that saw them sacked.

You lot fell for it yourselves with Mou.

A manager that's been sacked twice this season joining a club that have already sacked two managers. What could possibly go wrong?

Chelsea are on the verge of becoming a flasher more expensive version of Watford.

Knowing Terry, he was probably sleeping with Boehly when the latter was still in a committed relationship with Potter.
