Papiss Cisse

Especially since Messi actually has 36 goals and should be second on the list to Higuain.

Did Cal? make that up? :p

His atrocious penalty record counts as minus three.

Cabaye-Tiote-Gylfi is a pretty capable midfield if that's how they line up next season.

Papiss is class though, his movement is excellent

Indeed, and Guthrie has actually been looking decent when he's played lately. He could still find a way into their starting lineup.

According to that,it seems pretty easy to score in Spain if you play for either of the top 2

So not the best way of coming to the conclusion that a player is "simply awful" then.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's the best thing since sliced bread but he's doing a good job in an in form team.

So you're only allowed to pass judgement on a player that you see week in week out at the stadium? Righto! :wenger:

Of course you can pass judgement...but, I'm sure you'll agree, if you base that judgement on a few seconds of a player appearing on MOTD and the odd game shown on TV where again that player will only feature for a few seconds your judgement is likely to be suspect to say the least.

Surely you mean Real Madrid considering they have 3 players in the top 11 of that list, and Barça just have Messi.

Man City have 3 players in the top 20 as well.

Conclusion: it's easy to score in any league if you have shitloads of money to buy world class forwards with...

He's got 10 goals in 9 games for Newcastle so far, since ba lost form he has been banging them in every game. Not just tap ins either, all quality finished. IMO he seems to be better then demba ba. He just has something about him. Both quality though, and I'd like them to stay at Newcastle to see how they do next season.

If they can make as many good transfers this next 12 months as they did in the last 12, they can turn themselves into a very dangerous team. With CL money they can hope to hold onto their players as well.

Ba hasn't really lost form, just been playing a different position and Newcastle look better for it than they did at the beginning of the season imo.

i will scream PAPI PAPI for the next few nights if he manages to crush city.

I really do hope the demba dudes do the business

He's a proper no.9. Looks strong but he's also mobile and intelligent and a good finisher.

He's what Liverpool hoped Carroll would have been. Basically a rich man's of Andy Carroll for a fraction of the price.

he's feck al like andy carrol

Shot his load too early. Now he'll have a mare against City.

Come on son, you know it makes sense to turn this around for a last time.

Will be interesting to see if he sticks with Newcastle if they make the CL. Ashley is a cheap ass, I doubt he'll shell out the money Cisse could get for us, Chelsea or another top team.

We hardly need a striker, though, so I really don't want to see one of our competitors get their hands on him! I guess I hope he stays where he is, but I don't see that happening, one more year at the most.

Every goal he scores is an absolute beauty. If there's a top ten goals of the season competition he should have a few in there at least.

He's just getting better and better for them. Brilliant.

Seemingly every goal he scores is brilliant... but that was omni-brilliant. The bend and swerve on that ball...

Just seen the goals! Absolute outstanding technique, the 1st one wasn't too bad either!

He looks like a genuine world-class potential talent.

His movement, his ability on both feet, the timing of his runs, his temperament and patience, his finishing, close control, first touch and his long range shooting are all there.

Be interesting to see what his bottom level is and what he reverts to when off form.

What we've seen of him thus far in the PL has been exceptional and he's just scored one of the best goals the PL era has seen, too - up their with Rooney's volley and Henry's wonder goal against us.

I'd like to have him in our team but we can't afford the £50m he's now worth.

Two stunning goals tonight. Great natural goal scorer. Works incredibly hard off the ball too.
