I really hope he'd sign a new contract soon.

Just fecking sign it Paul.

When you’re ready to move on from the hyperbole we can have a proper debate. We all know where United ‘should’ be & 27% possession in a win isn’t it.

Fred was representing Manchester United at home to Citeh when we lost 3-1 was he not bothered? Or were expectations not important that night cause it wasn’t Pogba? He was also present for the 0-2 loss against Burnley.

I like Fred & McTom but saying they deserve a place in the team over Pogba based on an exceptional run vs their regular level is infact giving them ‘a free pass’.

Pogba may not be the answer in the long run but for ‘Manchester United football club where the expectations are higher, and by quite some distance, than at any football club in England.’ you can’t honestly think Fred & McTom are the answer long term either.

So when Pogba plays badly, he can’t be bothered & when Fred & McTom play badly it’s everyone else’s fault?

I respect your posts on here but your blind spot with Pogba is huge.

It's a funny word hyperbole, it's not something that ever came up in casual conversation and the only place i'd ever see it is in books/magazines, I swear till the age of 47/48 I thought it was pronounced hyper ball, anyway that's enough about how dumb I was/am.

I'm old school/skool, if you earn the shirt(and Fred and McTom did) you keep it till such time you don't, whoever you're keeping out.

Not sure Pogba, Fred or McTominay are the answer long term, but I know in which order i'd pick them now in a must win game.

It's not a blind spot with Pogba, i'm just not as forgiving as some. It'll take a bit more than a few booming diagonals to convince me he's the Man to build a team around, over to Paul.

What a player.

Genuinely think he's the best crossfield/long ball passer in the world. The way he just pings them with such little effort really is beautiful to watch.

It's not only that he reaches them also but the power he just nails perfectly so the receiver is not over reaching or having to take a big touch, it just falls gently into their feet

I think Kroos is probably better. But there aren't many as good as Pogba

Kroos is definitely of the same calibre, but I don't remember him playing as many over the top like Rashford v Tottenham last year etc

Anyway to say he's up there with somebody like Kroos is only a compliment.

he’s capable of doing things in a split second to open the game up.

This is the bit that I admire the most from Bruno and I think is the perfect compliment for Pogba's game. I sincerely hope this two can grow even better in a team with another more defesively minded midfielder, that would be such a dominating force.

Class.

Here’s to Pogba & the team this evening

He should not be playing as a no. 6. Ever. He'll always give away goals, then. Has to have a DM behind him, so he can unfold and play his natural game.

Obviously extremely talented but thought he was quite poor today. I'm always scared when he drops deep.

Please push him forward... it’s frustrating. He’s too talented to be so deep.

Mixed bag tonight.. some wonderful passes but again caught in possession To often. Fortunately didn't cost us tonight.

Looked leggy and tired again which is to be expected, but at least was focussed and responsible. So whilst indifferent in attack, he performed his defensive duties well.

Average performance but no problems from me, given the context.

He helped us manage the result in the second half. Nothing spectacular and did a job for the team.

Don’t think he played well. Not awful but not good. Bruno arguably gives the ball away more often but somehow in a less infuriating manner. Not sure if this is because we’re still in a honeymoon period or if there’s something more to it.

Maybe it’s because Bruno tends to give up possession trying to speed the game up but Pogba gives it away when he’s trying to slow the game down?

I dont like him receiving the ball 10-15 yards ahead of our box. He should not be playing that deep imo and he makes a lot of mistakes for some reason when he recieves it there.

Thought he's been pretty poor in that midfield two, just don't feel confident at all with him there, play him further forward if you want, but I can't see us long term with Bruno and Pogba in midfield, it just doesn't look or feel right, but we definitely need someone to get hold of midfield. We let all these teams play around us at will some time, McTominay and Fred may not have the ability that Pogba has, but I prefer them as a duo in there.

Its definitely this Had the Palace goal not been ruled out he would start to get more heat

Does my head in with his lackadaisical approach. Some sloppy passes that could have cost us dearly. Also could use more bite (grinta) in midfield, has all the talent in the world.

Maybe. Although even taking away the honeymoon period good vibes his productivity is insane. Another assist tonight and the width of a post away from another goal. When you’re as ridiculously productive as he is, it’s hard to bear a grudge about misplaced passes. The gulf in final third stats between him and every other attacking midfielder we’ve tried since Scholes and Giggs retired is absolutely enormous.

Don't think he's had this fabulous impact on us since he's returned that you'd believe reading some of the comments in here. Definitely good enough to be in the team as we don't have any depth at all but still doesn't look anything like a 90m player to me.

Does something wonderful one minute where you go wow and then proceeds to lose the ball really cheaply 2 or 3 times in the next 10 minutes. Pogba in a nutshell.

Sloppy at times but we take him for granted. He is so technically gifted and can use his physique to his advantage. There isn't a player in world football like him as far as I'm concerned.

Sign the contract lad.

When Bruno loses it he is higher up the pitch so it matters less. Pogba is playing closer to our goal, partly because McTominay was non existent and partly because our defenders dither on the ball.

He lost it once after having to drop back, whilst marked, to receive the ball when McTominay would not turn despite being in acres of space and just backpassed to Lindelof.

Fred with Pogba is going to be better combination I feel going forward. Pogba had no help from Scott but did well tonight. I think expectations are way too high and he has been playing non stop since re-start. Had no game since October so not necessarily match fit also

I saw this

the team waa bombing forwarded and the match had 11 minutes of the injury time, I saw him gesturing for everyone to calm down. That was really good to see

Yes he in insanely productive

Good performance again. He is not at his best but he is still performing admirably.

I wish he could cut out the 1 heart attack a game where he gives the ball away 15 yards from the box.

He was alright. Think he's not been as focused as I'd like the last couple games.

This is definitely honeymoon bias. I recall in the 6th minute Bruno gave the ball away while attempting to dribble out of a press in the defensive thrid.
