Predictably disgusting from the cesspit that is social media. Back when I was getting to know the internet in the early 2000s you'd see this sort of shit in the online equivalent of the wild west, obscure forums which the vast majority of people would never see it and where no-one except for the admin of that particular forum had any ability to address it. You wouldn't see it anywhere the average internet user was likely to go.
Nowadays most of the internet (in the west anyway) exists on 4 websites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), all of which are multi-billion dollar businesses who could comfortably employ thousands of moderators without denting their profits. It's absolutely inexcusable that the sort of racism that used to be hidden away in dark corners is now plastered all over websites used by a majority of the world population. Our society is racist enough without racists, and impressionable young folks having access to a community of millions of racists on their favourite social media site.
The Neville angle is a non-story for me. I watched the analysis at the time and whilst he was a little overzealous (which you can understand as a United fan after a hugely frustrating result), it didn't come across particularly as criticism of Pogba to me, more criticism of Ole, or the team, for not designating a penalty taker.
