Peterson, Harris, etc....

This is a good summary of the development of jihadism as a “distinct and identifiable movement” within the much broader Islamist current - Jihadism on its own terms: Understanding a movement

But i mean you can go back to the life of Muhammad and the ones succeeding Muhammad and still consider Jihadism as a movement rather than referring to very recent modern history.

I don’t think so really, jihad is a doctrine comprising one element of the classical Islamic legal tradition, but I don’t think you could say a distinct movement emerged around it before the modern age.

But isnt that just a distinct movement separated from a caliphate? Or am I splitting hairs here?

No he's got a point. I definitely represented the fall of civilization into a post-enlightenment world because I posted a tweet of a clip of man saying "Hitler didn't do thing" and then posting a picture of Hitler doing a thing. It's not hilariously overdramatic at all.
True. You should expect a visit from discourse police tomorrow morning. Remember to pack something warm.

Most doctors and hospitals do more harm than good. Even for someone with an all Beef/Benzo diet, that is quite a take.

He went from "plumbers save more lives than doctors", which is just a weird way to stress the importance of sanitation, and has now reached "doctors do more harm than good". Impressive. What's next? Doctors are the spawn of Satan?

Capitalism needs to die. I’m a socialist.

But he kind of has a point. Fiercely regulated Capitalism kind of has an ability to see a well run society, function. But social cohesion has to be baked into it.

We had it for a while, if you really squint and look at the past. And only then if you’re comparing now versus then. We now live under disaster stage capitalism where profit is sought, even if its generation/extraction will decimate society.

With that said, he’s not making that point at all. Because he’s a mutant who does the feck out of every hair above his eyes, with what looks to be boot polish.

The Capitalism I grew up under kind of felt like it had the attitude ‘If you have £100 in your pocket, come buy some of our product, it’s good’. Now it’s got its hand in your pocket, just taking money out without any choice involved.

Isn't that precisely what Shapiro and his goons don't want? They hate Keynesian economics and anything resembling a welfare state. They are all drinking the Friedman Kool Aid.

Basically they want 1950's culture combined with 1980's economics and recent Japanese immigration laws. That's their wet dream.

Oh aye. They desire something that’s unobtainable. Impossibility is baked into their premise.

They have no concept of a society. They don’t want to change. They want to reap the spoils while not having to change or being accepting of anything that looks challenging, regardless of how much that change looks like, or how much it even affects them.

Housecats. Babies. Weirdos. Bad faith actors, grifting and exploiting the breakdown of social contracts and cohesion.

If he died tomorrow the world would be a better place.

1 hour and 40 minutes of Shapiro's awful voice and even worse opinions, debating against 25 woefully unprepared amateurs (I assume)? This is my idea of hell in video form.

It’s literally the only type of debate he will put himself forward for. Same with Charlie Kirk, every clip I see of the both of them is them aggressively or snarkly attacking a very nervous and flustered youngster.

This numbskull only debates kids, how about talking to people his age? What a cnut
This little cock weasel never agrees to debate anyone who isn't some naive college kid. The one time he came up against an adult (a highly conservative one at that too) he crumbled and exited the interview early with his tail tucked between his legs.

Like Peterson he's very much an idiot's take on a smart person.

Didn't he call Andrew Neil a liberal?

Or today would be fine with me.
