Yes players have unique traits and qualities, but they are also only as good as the instructions they receive. If Bruno and Pogba are well drilled on the roles and responsibilities they have within the team, then there is no reason why they can’t work together as part of a three.
What you’ll never get from Pogba is a pressing machine, because he’s just not that type of player, but as a professional footballer, if he is well drilled enough, what you can expect is him to press to a reasonable level. That comes down to coaching and other factors such as the desire of the player to be a part of the collective. He will never be a Kanye type, but it’s well within his physical capabilities to do it at a reasonable level. Bruno is much more naturally inclined towards pressing, but he needs to be well drilled to mind his defensive and transition responsibilities.
