Rashford, Lukaku, Rojo and Ibra all shit.

Matic very sloppy with some of his passing.

Young and Lingard very good.

This is a team full of bottlers. Cnuts.
Young was shite how many crosses did he put into the keepers hands or hit the first man
He had no defending to do all game he was terrible in attack as was Shaw the same
Rashford was awful aswell
Lukaku got zero service again many times of the balls in didn't even have a chance to challenge for fecking disgraceful

I have not much to say about this game, other than at least another unwanted post-SAF record was avoided.

Their keeper did brilliantly.

Dyche sets up really well for defending. Three defenders dropped deep in the box, not much space between the defensive line and midfield. They did really well and stifled us.

Lakaku needs a rest.

Lingard was good, Shaw was decent but the rest were utter crap and that goes for the manager too. Our attacking play is a joke the only thing we do is to play it out wide and cross.

Can we play 3 midfield with Pogba license to go forward???
I'm bored seeing him playing deep.

Disgraceful. They can feck off, I am not celebrating the Burnley Draw Cup.

Good word for Lingard though. Only one who did well.

Jose starting Zlatan and Rojo is what cost us the points. Simple as that. Bloody hell, stop this love-in with Zlatan, play Lingard or switch to a 4-3-3 if Lingard is to be rested, fecking drop Rojo and play Lindelof-Jones at CB. Despite being a Jose supporter in general, I know when the blame mostly lies on the manager, and it was today. Zero marks for him.

And De Gea needs to be told to come out for the ball. Stop being a pussy, ffs.

Really disappointing to drop points, but a good comeback at the end. Going to need to make at least a couple of signings next month.

feck all gutless about that. we continually fought hard, but we didn't have a fecking clue around their box. Nothing gutless about it though.
How did we fight hard exactly? We were extremely lucky considering we only had about 4 chances. This was literally the same game as the infamous 2-2 game against Fulham with Moyes where we were clueless. To be 2-0 down to Burnley in the first place is gutless.

The reality is we are not defending well enough to win games. And no hope in the immediate future with Bailey not coming back any time soon.

We looked like title contenders for a while, now it seems we will struggle to retain top 4

There's no attacking game plan at all. The manager is putting players on the pitch and expecting them to improvise. If the plan was to cross, Mata should have been on the left wing with Rashford on the right. Less cutting in and giving the defenders extra seconds to organise.

Where the grass is greener.
We should still be finishing 2nd, but throwing away points like today is just laughable. So much average fodder in that squad, all over the pitch.

Enforced crosses just shows the lack of any clue when it comes to final third. How the feck i see any other team have those runners behind their RB/LB and between RL/RB and CBs but us.

I thought we played very well. Mourinho deserves credit for the correct changes at halftime. I think we did well to get a point after going 2 goals down.
All you jose haters can go feck off

2 goals.

Lukaku really needs to take a hard look at himself. A perfect weighted cross for him and he headed the back to where the ball came from. That’s all the evidence needed to say he’s useless at this level.

He’s now assisted opponents to score goals at old Trafford more than any player this season. It’s like his brain freezes when defending a set piece. His legs become weaker and he just bumbles around like an oaf.

I was hoping the festive fixtures might be the last chance to catch up but looks like we would do well to hold onto 2nd at this rate.

The soft underbelly of the team is exposed again. Players are playing like there is nothing to play for in the season.

The cracks are starting to appear even bigger and definitely need some reinforcement in January.

We’re a team with a lot of size that can’t defend set pieces or get on the end of it when attacking

Two quality finishes from Lingard can't paper over the cracks, that was a dreadful performance devoid of drive, invention and dynamism, but mostly the problem is a set of players in attack that play like they are complete strangers.

Yup, we lack the edge. The players lack tactical nous and ingenuity, they needs to be managed by someone that is very hands on in the attacking department or they should be ditched.

This is on Jose - that starting XI was bollocks. So unbalanced. Good spirit shown to come back though and salvage a point. Burnley scored from their only two shots on target and we were unlucky with their dickhead keeper time wasting at every possible opportunity.

Southampton next who shipped 5 to Spurs, watch them suddenly become 90's AC Milan on Saturday.

Crap result. At least the early goal forced us to attack all game. Don't think anyone had a bad game. Good free kick from them. No threat really from the left.

Pogba needed to take more risk in second half, he appeared to take Matic's place and then did not attack as much as we needed.

Seem to have an issue with attacking the ball in the penalty box.

It's been some time since we've mounted a successful comeback of sorts, after the first goal it did seem that it was only a matter of time before we pulled it back. That hasn't been the case for some ages. So the last 4 goals we've conceded at OT have come from set pieces, 3 of those we can see Lukaku making a hash of things in his own box. Keep him up, or give him some coaching on how to defend.

Pogba whilst not always on the ball, was certainly the one telling everyone to hurry up and move the ball forward for most of the second half, it's something we've missed of late.

To be fair to Lukaku, the service he has been receiving... Actually wait, he hasn't been receiving any.

Set piece defending needs to be better. Crossing needs to be better. We need a dedicated set piece specialist. We really need someone in the mould of (insert name of world beating playmaker here) to help open games up especially against teams that park the bus.

Pretty shocking stuff that our academy players seem to care more about wanting to get the ball back and making the clever runs behind defenders than the rest of the "talent" we've bought.

300 million quid, and this?

We're still not a very good team. We lack world class players. Hell, we lack very good players. £75m on Lukaku looks like a waste tbh.

It's the mentality, the style of football and the manager. First 2 are caused by the manager though.

Result aside i think we were good and unlucky. They had 3 shots ffs. We battered them nearly whole game.
My concern is corners. Defending and attacking. Why can't we score from corner with this tall squad? Can't understand that.

We just don’t know how to build attacks. Don’t show enough urgency when not behind and by then the other side usually has a bit more confidence. The only thing Mourinho can seem to coach is the defensive side and yet we still concede constantly from crosses and set pieces.

A bit of a mess but getting the point after all that feels like a slight victory. Dropping 4 points when we're at our most rested, with Everton away on 1 day's rest still to come is going to be costly in the end, I fear. Though tbf to Burnley we've probably underestimated them - they won at Stamford Bridge and drew away to Spurs+Liverpool. Shame they bent over for City.

Lingard FC. Boy just keeps popping up with goals. Wish some of our other players had his workrate.

Thought Young and Shaw were really good. Was good to see proper width and crosses coming in from Fullback position. We also played a lot better when Jose did a ‘F*%k this S*!t’ and threw the sink at it.
Young or Shaw didn't put in a decent cross all game they were fecking awful

Ibra needs to go, legit don't get why we entertain playing him? Is it because he's a big name or something? The guy is long overdue retirement.
We need a solid defence and build from there, our defence is just rubbish.
Lukaku did the same thing I did today and watch Utd play, except he had a better view and got paid for it.

Young and Lingard are the only 2 players who ever really do anything decent.

We need to get rid of some players and add some new ones. Its sad to say, but we have a final third problem, as well as problems in defence.

Reminds me a bit of how we did under Moyes. One of the things that enabled us to mount such fantastic comebacks under Ferguson was that we were patient and ground them down. We played that whole match as if there were 3 minutes left. Especially at the end we were pumping long balls forward. Heaven forbid that we take 5 extra seconds to get the ball forward, why do that when you can launch it forward in 2 seconds, lose it to Burnley, and then have them retain possession for a precious minute?

I don't know who's to blame. Mourinho can't be that fecking daft, can he?

This whole match pisses me off... feck that one point.
