A frustrating day at Old Trafford as it ends goalless.

United started well but once Newcastle survived the initial storm they got themselves organised and defended in numbers. United dominated possession but really struggled to create clear chances in the second-half and couldn't find a way through.

A familiar story. At least we didn't concede a sucker punch goal!

We should have scored. This happened a lot last season, we need someone who can break a defence down, or we need to change tactics.

Awful result. Awful ref and linesmen. Too many little mistakes from the players.

Horrible performance, and illustrates how lucky we are to have 7 points. We've played like relegation fodder for four games.

Annoying.

We should have won so while a draw vs Newcastle isn't terrible over the course of a season, it's one you can look back at having 2 points dropped come May.

Another clean sheet though... Just.

I really miss those days when we were capable of creating good chances and scoring goals. Everything is such a massive effort these days.

Should've won. Memphis has the Rooney touch syndrome. Absolutely awful at times.

Frustrating, cliche but it simply was "one of them days".

Great start, should've scored in that period. Poor after that. Need more pace in our attacks, everything is so slow and predictable.

Wasted far too many fecking chances. WE NEED A FORWARD PLAYER.

Though I have to say we did improve massively when Chicharito came on. Hoping to see more of that.

Let's hope this result opens VG's eyes we are toothless, and look unbalanced going forward

Bad luck and bad finishing cost us. Just one of those days. Wouldn't normally be too disheartened but this inability to score hasn't come out of nowhere...

Again shows we need a top notch striker. Rooney is finished at this level.

Should have won the game but we still didn't do as much you would hope against such an ordinary side at home. Hernandez isn't of the requisite quality but at least his energy shows what we're lacking going forward without a top class striker.

Unlucky in the first half. They defended well in the second.

We played fairly well. But our forward line just doesn't have enough. Lack of investment in attack for me. Our lack of goals shouldn't surprise anyone.

Awful performance from 20 to 75. Still should've won by 2.

Newcastles first away point from February. Unacceptable.
