Would be surprised if anyone went with a back 5.. Wasn’t really the style in Britain back then.. It’ll be a very hard sell
g = window.googletag || {}; googletag.cmd = googletag.cmd || []; window.googletag = googletag; googletag.cmd.push(function() { var interstitialSlot = googletag.defineOutOfPageSlot('/17085479/redcafe_gam_interstitial', googletag.enums.OutOfPageFormat.INTERSTITIAL); if (interstitialSlot) { interstitialSlot.addService(googletag.pubads()); } });
Ok. Spent a couple of hours scribbling a new list, will wing it.No minimum number.. As long as they have played in the 20 year period within the UK
I'm fine.....but I'd recommend having at least a 25 game (just wiki or equivalent) limit.No minimum number.. As long as they have played in the 20 year period within the UK
We defined peak as the time the player played in the league.. So if player X has played just 10 games then you have to judge him on those 10 games only.. Eliminates the need to have a minimum game requirementI'm fine.....but I'd recommend having at least a 25 game (just wiki or equivalent) limit.
In about an hour time from nowStarting yet??
I know right! Who'd have thought that Dalglish would go first??Well I for one did not see that coming.

You could pick ten random players now and still have a good chance of getting my vote.
Because we have abundant CMs in this draft and despite Robson's stature, positionally Dalglish was a good #1 pick. More surprised that Rush went ahead of Robson tbh!Why wouldn't you pick Robson as the first pick on a United forum in this draft?
Agreed. Kenny would have been my first pickBecause we have abundant CMs in this draft and despite Robson's stature, positionally Dalglish was a good #1 pick. More surprised that Rush went ahead of Robson tbh!
Ultimately it came down to last draft I built around a CM and didn't want a CM as my first pick. I wanted a forward.Why wouldn't you pick Robson as the first pick on a United forum in this draft?
This is probably the ONLY draft where they'll get recognized. No other opposition literally.Not sure that I'm looking forward to it though
I am looking forward to picking players from Nottingham Forest and Derby CountyThis is probably the ONLY draft where they'll get recognized. No other opposition literally.
This will be a 4-4-2 draft and getting two top strikers let's you compromise on many other positions without it affecting votes. Like in the case of many real world 4-4-2's. I might have gone for two strikers as pick 1 and 2 if the right players were available.More surprised that Rush went ahead of Robson tbh!
Why are players like Dalglish underrated? Is it purely because of the Liverpool connection or there are better players than him in an all time context?Finally those Liverpool legends will get some recognition. Frankly they are ridiculously underrated here. Not sure that I'm looking forward to it though
edit: forgot about the unpicked names rule
Both. In an all time a MvB-Gullit beats anything UK leagues can throw up. And very few managers build 4-4-2 in drafts.Why are players like Dalglish underrated? Is it purely because of the Liverpool connection or there are better players than him in an all time context?

I reckon its because nobody here will bother to watch old Liverpool games nor do a proper research about those players so they are either forgotten or underrated as feck.Why are players like Dalglish underrated? European performances are counted. Any official performance for the club during that time period is counted@BeforeKeanetherewasRobson @Indnyc I feel like I should have asked this earlier but are European performances for the British clubs taken into account or only League/Domestic Cup?
