Aston villa on fire with just 10 men, they look like they are nailed on to be a top 10 side this season
It is remarkable how good they have become with largely unchanged personell. These results are not a fluke. Only Chelsea, City and Liverpool post better stats. Dean Smith wasn't really known as a great defensive coach but their improvements in that regard in particular (since returning from the lockdown really) are astonishing. I think it'll level out somewhat and they are not suddenly the fourth best team in the league but still you have to acknowledge the development.Aston Villa are the real deal
Elneny-Xhaxa-Rowe is a Championship calibre midfield. That has to be one of the worst starting XI's we have ever fielded in the premier league.
Wouldn’t be so sure. Just like Arsenal to turn up against Chelsea before Brighton roll them over.Stuck £20 on Chelsea should be easy money
Xhaka back in the first XI? Shocking.Elneny-Xhaxa-Rowe is a Championship calibre midfield.
Happy to see Martinez do well for Villa always rated him as a keeper and comes across as a decent bloke.Aston Villa absolutely flying this season. Unreal turnaround from last term. 2 really tough games coming up for us. Wolves have always given us problems even at their worst.
Not going by that lineup it looks like a sack me now lineup..Wouldn’t be so sure. Just like Arsenal to turn up against Chelsea before Brighton roll them over.
Could be a laugh though.Xhaka back in the first XI? Shocking.

Doesn't DT hate Bellerin? Any mistake and he will be going apoplectic on ArseTV.Bellerin, Holding, Elneny, Xhaka... Tapas Pulis is something else.
They have Tuchel available now.Tweet

They should've pulled the trigger weeks ago. Not that I'm complaining.
