It doesn't take much tbh when you have players who are loving this kinda football.
It is a choice, you either want to or don't. Chelsea have a decent squad, depth is excellent, perhaps a little lacking in top end quality, though today is not showing it. Barkley, Morata and Pedro, these are not players any Utd fan would have wanted this pre-season gone.

Obviously not, they did well to stay top 4 for so long and play good football with him. What they always needed was big investments to push on which they never did. They'll improve this season as they had pretty much the hardest start possible, but they are always going to be underdogs for top 4 this season. City, liverpool and Chelsea are the clear favourites for top 3 and that leaves United, spurs and arsenal for the last spot.
The worst thing is the Arsenal board are probably done with giving Emery money until next summer, by then they'll be further behind a bit like this game. 2-0

Jesus christ, literally all it is taking is a clipped ball over, and the Arsenal backline falls to bits. One ball and you're in!

Chelsea look good but I'm wondering how much of it is to do with how inept Arsenal have been thus far. It's so easy for them and they're panicking and giving the ball straight back to Chelsea at every opportunity.
The Arsenal defence look shambolic, they can't even get the basics right.

Christ, some of you love any excuse to have a thinly veiled dig at Jose. It's two league games in, Sarri has them playing good football but this Arsenal side are shambolic at the moment and being opened up at will. There's nothing miraculous about clipping one ball over the top and immediately being in on goal.

Emery needs to sort it out. They are still in this game because whilst Chelsea have played good football, they could easily have conceded 2 themselves.

I agree. You can play any semblance of decent attacking football with most teams tbh.

Who honestly thought signing an ageing Greek defender was a great decision? Or handing Xhaka a contract extension.

Mustafi did nothing wrong and was unlucky he forced Morata into a difficult shot but the keeper behind him was utter crap. If he stayed on his feet instead of moving early it was a simple save because the shot was so slow.

The lack of effort and the general spinelessness is all so tiring...

People can write off Chelsea as title winners all they like, They have a history of winning after the bad season/new manager cycle.

He got on the wrong side of Morata and let a simple ball over the top beat him. Never should have allowed Morata to run and get a shot in the first place. Just awful, awful schoolboy defending.

For Arsenal, Iwobi should just mark Jorhingo and drift off him once/if Arsenal gains possession. Force Barkley or Kante to dictate the match from central positions. It's just too, too easy for chelsea right now

Correct. It's absolutely pathetic.

surely it is too early for an Arsenal Fan TV meltdown? After two games...
If Arsenal continue playing like this, the Arsenal fans will be well within their rights to be pissed off. Defensively they are playing like Sunday leaguers.

DT and the gang will not be amused.
