Who would have thought at the start of the season, that in April you would watch a game between Brentford and West Ham with 4-5 players who would walk straight into the United starting 11.
Eriksen, Antonio and Rice for sure would. The problem is of course that they would not perform at this level if they actually were at United

If Burney finally and Norwich go down and are replaced by Fulham and Forest, the quality of the PL next season will be far better. These two play like it's still 2005.

There's only one United!
I hate both sides, one because they are our biggest rivals and the other because they are the smuggest of the smug. What a dilemma. :(
But Carragher and a Times journo said that this is the 'biggest-ever' game in the PL era and Klopp and Pep are the greatest-ever managers in the PL since it's inception!! Wow!

How can we dispute that coming from such eminent persons?!

Maybe they forgot United / Arsenal and SAF / Wenger rivalries ??

And they said City and Pool are the greatest teams ever in PL :D :D

A team that has not yet won one CL and the other which won 1(PL) since 1990 !!

The media is always like that, the here and now, football didn't even exist before the PL in their eyes anyway. Except when the World Cup comes around and we won it in 1966.

Not turning out as bad a weekend for United after all, though it does make the Everton loss that more frustrating.

That City XI worries me. Like before almost every big game this entire season so far, their lack of a focal point to their attack sticks out like a sore thumb. They’ve struggled in front of goal of late whilst Liverpool are scoring freely despite being in poor form the last number of weeks. Let’s hope the City bastards are up for this one…

Would have started keita so there’s less of a disconnect between the midfield and attack. Henderson has been our worst midfielder defensively this season and struggles being pressed high up as an 8. He really needs a big performance today in that position.

Maybe that's why Jesus plays, although I would've gone with Mahrez

Liverpool’s current team is like our great teams in that it’s pretty much the same personnel every week apart from the odd tweak to the forward line as they wish. The strength in depth is ridiculously good. I can really see them winning today particularly if Salah shows up again.

Salah really needs to come to the party. Give Cancelo hell.
