Mahrez needs to feck right off, as usual 2 unplayalbe months and then strolls around like a lazy cnut for the rest of the season. Kyle Walker and Dias equally dogshit.

Entire team have been poor but those 3 take the fecking cake.
Grealish and Bernardo the only 2 showing any drive or will to win.

If we don't score early in the 2nd half, we'll start overly pushing men up and West Ham will do us on the counter.

Isn’t that the definition of a dive?
Nope, a dive would be falling at the touch or to avoid a legal contact, like shoulder to shoulder or a leg to the ground.

We all want Liverpool to drop points but we have to be unbiased too.

Salah is up to 29 goals by the way. In 46 games.

Ah the classic Mahrez hate. You lot, just can't wait to jump at his throat. The amount of abuse he gets from your fans is absolutely unreal.

Cause when he's not playing well he offers nothing. When Grealish, Bernardo etc.. are off form they at least press, get stuck in and work hard. Mahrez only does this when he can be arsed. Have you watched the game?

You are boxing them in way too well, actually makes it easy for the defenders since they aren’t exposed to Haaland’s pace, just clear everything floating in. Rodri had more attempts at goal than the cyborg.

Strange City performance so far, slow boring football and no atmosphere from the fans

Is the tie at halftime of the City game representative of the game itself? Or does it flatter West Ham?

Agree, Grealish, Bernardo aside we've been pedestrian. Moyes is happy to let us take 20 minutes in the build up because he knows he can just drop into a 5 and 3 in front and we have little chance in aerial duels. The fact we've got no right wing at all this game isn't helping either.

We made 1 good chance where Rodri hit the post, West Ham have created nothing but I'd say 0-0 is pretty fair. Imagine the worst of LVG's United vs the worst of Tony Pulis Stoke and you'd be close to whats being served up here.

Extreme example:

If someone throws a leg breaker at you and you avoid it somehow to save having a broken leg it shouldn't be a foul?
That fall under the excess force, out of control challenge thing, doesn't it?

With the attempt to trip thing: Walker Peter scissor follow through on Garnacho somehow was not a foul, but if a defender trying to pressure no contract, and the attacker dives, it can be interpreted as attempt to trip...

This feels like intentionally written as vague as possible, leave these referee, VAR officials all the power to intepret however they want up according to the narrative.

West Ham are sitting very very deep. You need to change it up a bit I think.

Oh yeah, he's been quiet until now. But what's ridiculous, and it's really nothing new with a lot of your fans, is that you don't even wait until the match is over or he's been subbed off to absolutely murder him. He's been your whipping boy since he set foot in your club. He could score a hat-trick in the CL final and you'd still find something to nitpick.

And the excuse about him being lazy or not arsed, doesn't hold a single drop of water. You mistake having a laid-back attitude with being lazy. No one plays in a Pep team or lasts very long if they don't put in a shift.

He jumps, expecting the contact. There was no contact. It doesn’t work the way you think it does.
The way you explain it, a player subject to a tackle that misses both player and ball, but falls because he expected contact, should get a penalty.
He shouldn’t, as that would be diving.
In this case, there is no visible contact, and Nunez is responsible for what he choses to do with his own body.

Game over. All that parking the bus and you get done by a set piece.

City do tend to get a load of set piece goals. I miss united doing that especially from defenders

I honestly find City so hard to watch. Unless it's a big game, it's so boring. I get they're brilliant and Pep is a genius but it's just death by utter domination.

Was a time in the early 2000s where it was the same for United games at OT. At least that wasn’t all this “Etihad” nonsense. Such contrived soulless stuff even though the football is incredible.

It’s just all so fake. Their fans know it deep down.
Deeply tedious side. The true banality of footballing 'evil' - we could be taken over by the richest and worst monarch in the world, start bribing the refs and opposition along with deploying both Klopp's inhalers and the Spanish bloodbags, and it still wouldn't be as hollow...
