Television Rick & Morty

I’ve liked the season so far. Latest ep was another one with funny moments.

I dont like the new season at all.
The magic is gone.
Its not awful or anything but definitely not as good.

Not sure how I feel about the new season, episode 3 was basically the most obvious thing ever.

They went with episodic what ifs and mindfecks (such as the love potion episode), i just don't think the ideas are that interesting or funny.

Some of the dialogue is still laugh out loud funny though. I'd still give it an 8/10. It's miles better than Archer which has been watchable at best for the past 10 seasons.

Definitely still something I'd watch every week but feels like a noticeable dip in quality this season.

The latest episode was great. Ive enjoyed the current season so far.

Think they have re found their groove in these episodes to be fair. Enjoyed the entire season.

They'll be back Nov 20 (21 for most of us).

Does the fixing of that rift and the portals make a reemergence of evil morty (or most evil Rick) possible?

Not a fan of when they go so meta. Similar to the train episode, the most recent one was a bit shite.

ooh, thanks for the reminder :) Something else to watch in between the football games.

Thought I could hear Robert Webb in the latest episode. Checked and it was him, David Mitchell, Daniel Radcliffe and Jack Black.

Obviously they can use any sciency way to explain the voice changes but wonder how that will go down.

Solar Opposites must be a gonner though. I enjoyed that one.

Adult Swim said they were pushing through with the next season, but it's gonna feel so weird. Also as Sol said, Solar Opposites likely won't survive this.

What a cnut. (EDIT: Justin Roiland, not Sol)

To be fair, Roiland only voices one of the main characters in Solar Opposites so it depends on how much creative input he has and whether it can be filled. I think Rick & Morty is in a far more vulnerable position.

What a wanker. Rick and Morty has been on its way out for a while but Solar Opposites was still good.

I need evil morty resolution having gotten into this series late.

Anyone notice voices are more high-pitched/different this latest series?

Losing Harmon would be a bigger blow.

Community season 4 attests.

I also don’t think a show that relies entirely on deconstructing high concept premises can really go on for that much longer anyway.
