Must have been the rule that you can’t express your thoughts unless deals are official. Shit rule if it exists.
It’s the meltdown about something that hasn’t happened (yet) which gets me. Yet if it was United that were in talks, no one would believe it & claim it’s a Soton way to get someone else to pay more.

I’d be a bit gutted if Arsenal get him

think he could develop into a decent controller

Why can’t we work on more than one deal at a time? They’re totally different players, it’s not like Lavia is a plan B option.

Exciting player but he's far from a sure bet. A bit of risky investment really.

I'd say Mount (or any established MF), a GK and a striker are way more important than Lavia for United. I don't think you'll be involved in anything until those 3 slots are dealt with.

Because we can’t afford £100m on two midfielders if we still want a WC striker and a new no.1.

ETH priority will be to upgrade Eriksen which Mount can do, good creativity and a better engine/physicality.

Unfortunately, squad depth is a luxury that we literally can’t afford right now.

We monitor every player in the world. We’ve specialised in it for years. World class team with many years of experience in the art of monitoring.

This is very depressing. It's like that time when both kessie and brozovic were out of contract and we chose to go with McFred

Of all the potential players we coud have had, this is the one that will sting the most.

Forever monitoring.

Must say I'm jealous about Liverpool signings so far, both of them ooze class and gile

Interested to see what the price will be. I don't see us spending what I think he'll go for.

Liverpool aren’t fecking around they, I believe 100% they finish in top 4 next year, most likely in a title challenge with Arsenal and City…who will still win it of course.

he could develop into a really good DLP and they're pretty rare

I'd hope we're in for him

Our top 4 position doesn’t look that assured right now next season, does it? The way Arsenal and Liverpool are moving in the market and us fecking around due to the those parasites still at the club is gonna bite going into the season if things don’t change drastically for us.

We can't go for him as long as we have McTominay whom we seem adamant to keep until he has no value at all.

They have signed an unknown 22 year old for 60m and a player who has one good season at Brighton (World Cup winners are not all world class).

People need to calm down.

Do we need another MF and do we have money for it?

The priority now is GK and ST position.

I always like seeing a tweet saying we're monitoring stuff as I know how much it triggers some of you

nothing to do with wanting to put United's name into a transfer story, no no, it couldn't be that

These teams behind us really are taking risks with these young development players.

Let’s see if it works… Doubt it.

That 22 year is old is not unknown has't been for years.

While we have spent £55m on a player who couldn't get a game second half of last season for a team that finished 12th. Its very easy to frame things in the way we want.

Would be an excellent signing for us, but it won't happen, unfortunately. Just another consequence of the Glazer tragedy(2005 - 2023?).

What are you talking about? He had a pelvis injury which basically kept him out from the start of March until the end of the season, prior to that he was involved in every other game.

Random Manchester United reference in the tweet, because otherwise the numbers drop off considerably? Check.

People willingly falling for it regardless? Check.

Would have been a great signing and possible long term successor to Casemiro

If he doesn’t move this summer City will without doubt use their buyback next summer
