South Africa vs Canada - A predictably one sided 1st half is the best way to describe that 1st half. Every time South Africa attacked, they just seemed to score try after try. 2nd half Canada did not too bad and scored the opening try of the 2nd period but every man and their dug knew it was nothing more than a mere consolation. The Springboks finished off the 2nd period and their group campaign by scoring 3 tries in that 2nd period (10 in total).

Tomorrow (this morning) we have 3 games:-

Argentina vs USA
Scotland vs Russia - C’MON Scotland!!!!
Wales vs Fiji

Only a matter of time before Scotland secure the BP.

Whats the permutations here? Even if Wales lose they should still top the Group anyway if (when) they beat Uruguay Right?

Nah, Australia have more bonus points.
Yeah, we have to win this one to be sure of top spot and the nicer side of the draw. Just got to hope we either sharpen up quickly or Fiji keep getting people sent to the sin-bin.

Ref needs to start dishing out cards for dissent. Both sides been chatting in the refs ear all game long.

Amazing how much Rugby talent Fiji have for a population of under 1m. And NZ steal their best talent too!

You say pity, I say thank god. They're still capable of big hits though, poor Liam Williams
If World Rugby invested properly in the Pacific Nations and places like Uruguay, Canada and Georgia, we'd all be far better off. better games, more competition.

I think that's the kind of game Ireland will be having nightmares about with Samoa. Physical, attritional, injuries, and an opponent who desperately wants to make a final impact on the competition. Throw in bad weather too and it could be very grim.

Will the 5 year rule make any difference, or will it just near players are nabbed by the stronger nations earlier in life?
Probably the latter. But it's more important to build up infrastructure in those countries and to get them playing the players in stronger nations more often at club and international level and not freak out if they're not competitive right away.

Brutal game that. I think Biggar will be alright; he seemed ok on the side line at the end. Not sure not sure about Jonathan Davies, hopefully he'll be ok for the next game. Thought Wales were going to feck that game up for a second though, not going to lie.

Not that its relevant to this game but they should do away with the losing BP.

If you lose you should get feck all.

11 days until the QFs so hopefully both will be ok for that one, no way should either play against Uruguay. Last time we played them, think we had five or six injuries during the game, got to try and get through it. And yeah, think we all did, glad they pulled through.

That was some game. Best I've seen Fiji play and Wales were under par but still came away with a bonus points win. More injuries as well
