The delusion of anyone to take the Bayern bait. Another Glazer up management United PR stroke " look if Bayern are interested surely he is good enough to keep". This guy is protected from high ,be under no illusion, and will outlive ETH at United. The drama will be repeated in duplicate with the Fletcher kids. A good private detective would find the relative link to SAF.

How was this guy not sold this transfer window, it blows my mind. We had an offer from Newcastle in January, could've actually replaced him then. Board/management was idiotic, delusional valuing him at £45m. Should've took £25-30m as a pure profit on FFP books because he's an academy player. Then replace him with Amrabat or whatever and end of story - everyone is happy. Manager clearly doesn't rate him for obviously right reasons.

Incompetence of this club is bordering on purposeful, deliberate self-sabotage, parody.

His playing time will be severely affected should we sign Amrabat and the emergence of Mainoo, who will be fit in 6 weeks or so.

Be surprised if we’re able to get another offer next summer in the £30million range if he has another season warming the bench.

At this point you have to start asking serious questions how so much dead wood survives at this club so often even securing new contracts. Dalot is the latest

He’s the perfect squad player though
He really is because he's not going to complain about lack of playing time and he's on a relatively low wage for a first team player who's supposedly in his prime.

As long as he doesn't need to be counted on to play heavy minutes, he is fine. It's only when we start relying on him for heavy minutes and that's why you know it's going to be a long season.

Yeah no need be good or anything - just don’t complain.

Exactly, nothing changes. We win nothing while we keep players who are not good enough. Buy better and/ or give youth a chance.

Honestly was incredibly predictable that they'd turn to McTominay if palhinha was going to Bayern. Hope they make a good offer and we can do Amrabat quickly.

I’m all for selling him but it’s too late in the window now. Should’ve cashed in when West Ham offered £30m. It would mean we’d need to bring yet another midfielder on top of Amrabat if that deal happens, too short notice at this stage I think.

Sell McT and Amrabat bombs (which is very possible) and we are relying on a pair of kids in Hannibal and Mainoo to cover an ageing pair in Eriksen and Case. Ideally you would keep him, but that is probably the worst case for Scott. Needs to get away from Utd and get on with his career away from the toxicity.
