Sean Dyche: Everton Senior Men's team manager (sack watch)

Nice bloke, glad to see him get another gig.

Wont end well.

Think they're going backwards. Burnley has never looked better after replacing him.

I like him a lot.

Little surprised there was barely any talk about Pochettino or Tuchel (imo the two biggest name free agents). They did get Ancelotti, so they're clearly still attractive recruiters.

What's the length of contract? Is he a place holder until the summer or are they betting on him for a potential Championship fight?

A good first interview. I really do think the league is so poor this year that hard work is all that a club needs to stay up really. If he can instill that in us, which he and the club believe he can, we will be alright I reckon.

Thank god it was specified that he had been hired for the Men’s Senior Team. I was sure he’d would taken the Chess Team :wenger:

Him annoying Lampard last season about how Everton didn’t look like they knew how to win a game is looking like one of the great managerial long game mind games.

442 coming back for Everton. He will keep them up for sure.

It'll be very interesting to see Everton turn into a band of roving thugs... just hope he can do it on short order - their first two games under him will be Arse and Pool.

He got Burnley into Europe with the smallest budget in the Prem and you think being top of the Championship is the best it's ever been for them?

Burnley were actually always pretty highly ranked in the fair play tables. Being defensive minded as a manager and being known for hard work doesn't necessarily = thugs.

Good appointment for where the club currently is. This appointment will most likely keep them up.

Just wonder if this will end up like Big Sam, took the club from 18th to 8th and then let go in the summer because he was not progressive or trendy enough. Could see Dyche keeping them up but then the delusions of grandeur will kick in again and the fans will turn on him because he isn't the man to lead them to a title challenge.

Just seen the quotes from Kenwright that Dyche won him over in a couple of days and then met Moshiri and did the same.

They really have no clue what they are doing do they?

What kind of process is that
