Much like arsenal back in the day, if they weren't going to win anything, atleast it would be entertaining for the most part. It's been a real chore to watch us play these last 5 years

Til the end of the season? Abso-fecking-lutely.

At least the football would be decent. He's a specialist in getting 4th too.

Permanently? Nah.

I'd take LVG back til the end of the season. Not even joking.

Sure, imagine all the world class players we'd almost sign.

Can't imagine Wenger being any worse than Ole so why not? As long as it's temporary I only see an upside to appointing him. Even in his later years Arsenal's attacking play was miles better than ours is currently.

I’d take Paul Jewel at this point.

I remember I said this over a year ago and some people laughed...
Would still take it in a heartbeat. He had gotten stale at Arsenal, but his teams still played good stuff and they were still always around top 4 despite being useless in the transfer market. Did no better with Emery. At United he could help get things on the right track with our youth, implement a style of play while having a good back 4 to pick from (which he didnt have at arsenal) though no defensive mid. Have no doubt we'd get top 4 and probably 3rd if he took over tbh.

I wouldn’t mind him at all for the rest of the season. He can’t be worse than OGS is right now.

Wenger is just like Ole in the sense that he promotes and plays the youth and is in it for the long term. But the main difference is, he is tactically astute and plays beautiful attacking football.

You know what it might just work.

Wenger on a contract until the summer with a possibility of moving into a upper management/DoF role when we appoint a full time manager.

Even if the results are shit at least we’ll play some decent football. He’s had a good rest he will probably be well up for it.

I’m in. When we get tired of him we can get used #WengerOut banners real cheap.

At the very least Wenger are always capable of identifying and getting good kids.

Arsene sounds keen...or desperate. After all, it takes ages for universal credit payments to start.

If Wenger replacing Ole, I want Mourinho replacing Emery as well. It would be delightful banter era

Has everyone forgotten about John Gregory? He's just won the Super League in India. He’s a winner.

My vote is that we should hire 6 managers. Hear me out.

1) John Gregory
2) Egil Olsen
3) Steve Wigley
4) Iain Dowie
5) Joe Kinnear
6) The Winning Fan

At the end of each game regardless of the result we should let one of the fans decide who the manager will be for the next game. The fan that picks will be decided by playing a massive game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, until we’re left with one winner.

That winning fan will then walk out onto the pitch where they will roll a massive polystyrene dice and bingo, we have our next manager.

Ed can sell the naming rights to the dice. Quids in.

I would take him until the summer. No gas. He’s like wearing Gucci compared to Ole’s Primark management and Wenger is past it.
