Obviously, reality is photoshopped.
I think that objective reality, or 'the physical Universe' as some of us call it, simply doesn't understand the culture that Suarez grew up in.
Of course, that may seem a contradiction given that Suarez' upbringing took place
inside the physical Universe - but then, so much about Luis is contradictory...
-
Being racist doesn't
mean you're a racist.
- Commit gross acts of misconduct that result in regular, lengthy bans that
weaken your team because you want to 'win at all costs'.
- Dive in to disgraceful, career threatening challenges and then roll around on the floor
yourself as if you've
received the challenge.
So you see, objective reality is perhaps simply not capable of containing the many complexities that surround Luis Suarez' behaviour. Only Liverpool fans, Uruguayan football fans and closet racists can really understand these issues.
Objectively, it seems that Luis Suarez is a spoilt, unpleasant, potentially dangerous racist footballer - but what if it's objective reality that's racist...against Suarez? I know Suarez isn't a race, but what if that's just objective reality tricking me...again?
What if the Universe itself is fooling us all into trusting and believing in what we
think are simple, objective facts - gravity, time, matter, consciousness - and in fact Luis Suarez, this simple, poor, brave, passionate man has been sent to free us from this cruel illusion.
Reality bites...
Or is that just Suarez?
