YESHHHHH, We'll GOOO for it.
i think the joke is fine, i think this was an obvious joke too:

(it doesn't seem to be playing, it's trump beating someone up with a cnn logo photoshopped on his face). even in the context of the more adversarial relationship with the press, there are some things which are obvious jokes, and i think both the gif and the biden line qualify.

on not commenting here specifically - maybe, i don't know, but it's not like his administration has stated anything beyond "israel has a right to defend itself" so even in the proper channels thre hasn't been much. (obviously the real statement is their new ~1bn weapons sales to israel this week).
This is back to the levels of 'Trump will be better than Hillary for foreign policy'. I just don't understand the need to bring up a totally lunatic trump tweet to demonise Bidens awkward joke. Just take Biden to task on his awful response to the Israeli Palestine conflict. What the feck is wrong with you? Are you point scoring that we didn't understand the orange monkeys humor sense? Any hard left tosser with a 'this is what America needs for a reset bro' voting for Trump has 200000 American lives on their hands. Look at the night and day difference between covid19 handling between the two administrations.

I would say the considerable majority of the press corps will unintentionally appreciate such proximity to & interaction with the president again, distance caused by various reasons over the past four years. Their immediate responses will be somewhat more muted than they would anticipate. Can’t see the honeymoon lasting that much longer in its current form, not after the mishandling of the response to the crisis.

Of course a past Trump tweet will be referenced because they’re out there. It’s not hard to find the one you need. No previous presidents are irrelevant at any time going forward, it’s impossible not to reference the previous admin even in the most copacetic of times. They’re only a simple search away. They will start to lose their impact soon enough, we’re not really close to that point.

Any trump tweet taken is isolation fully ignores the scorched earth policy he drove hard against any perceived injustice he felt. For example, 20 years down the line, sharpiegate hurricane could even become a funny meme but taken it context with what trump did throughout, it's a impeachable offence by itself.

I said it's an obvious joke and have no issues with the joke but with the policy.

Who the feck are you talking about, "reset", "trump is better", jfc. someone actually made a version of that "reset" argument back in 2017ish, and it wasn't a leftist. i think eboue got a ban for replying to that guy.
You've made up some image of me in your head, totally misreading the post in front of you and inventing previous posts, and are gleefully ranting at this image. Carry on if it helps I guess.

Whatever image is in my head is because of what you have posted here. I will carry on whether it helps me or not.

Of course he's not as bad as Trump. The very definition of a lesser evil.

How popular is Harris?

How do you figure this? He's behind Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush II, and Obama in 100-day approval rating. He's only 1 or 2 points above Bush I and Clinton. Trump is really the only one he is significantly more popular than.

I thought I saw some stats where he'd ahead of HW, Clinton, W, Trump, and tied with Obama, but forgot the source. I'm born in 91 so that feels like the modern ones to me

His daughter is corrupt/greedy as hell. Periodically he seems to waver and then comes out with these definitive statements. My money is on blackmail of a sort.
He’s a DINO, same as Sinema. They’re on the Koch bankroll and more useful to them with a D next to their name than an R. Their opposition to Democrat policies and branding of the ones that require their vote to go through as “partisan” is much more damaging than if they just sucked it up and crossed the aisle.

Chris Coons became the senator for Delaware after 2010 when Biden left that position for VP. He was Biden's hand-picked candidate and ran unopposed in the primary. He won the general (unexpectedly) because his opponent was a witch person, before that he was trailing. He has comfortably won re-election in a blue state. He was campaign chair for Biden.

He voted against the min wage, wants to de-prioritise the centrist bill for the public option, has pushed for a smaller infrastructure bill than the White House, and helps make right-wing bureaucratic appointments.

It's great that the president - the new FDR!- has a close aide with such differing views to his own deeply held beliefs, that's what makes democracy work

My brain can't get pregnant!
To me these divides just show that there is a huge conflict in both parties and the need for both to split.

You have got your far right loons and your more moderate and fiscal conservatives. Then you have your left wing socialists and your more moderate liberal Democrats.

Nothing will ever be done with this two party system. Bipartisan fighting is bad enough as it is without this level of infighting and damaging obstruction in their own party.

One of the main things the Republicans do better than the Dems is come together when needed. Anything to stop the Dems.

The Republicans must be loving all this right now, while yet again it's the American public who lose out.

Something something Trump was worse something.
Wait a second.

You’re disagreeing with what she said?

She’s not taking immigration to this country in the future completely off the table, just don’t come now & exacerbate the problem.

Don’t see how this makes this admin worse than the previous.

It takes a second to realise what the headline means:

This is the key graph of the story:
