Amazing player.
Manchester United Legend.
I agree, someone make another Tevez/Ronaldo/Benzema/Palacios thread quick!Oh good this hasn't been done before.
A true proper Cockney Red.Top United fan, fresh out of Peckham.
In fairness, top class player and in footballing terms, highly underrated. Can still perform at the top level and probably will do so for several years. One of the greatest passers of a ball and should certainly be held in as higher regards as Gerrard and Fwank, in this respect.
Would like to see him playing in England again.
Was going to say that. His goal scoring record isn't too impressive, but isn't a major part of his game. His assists would be a fairer reflection.Anyone care to update his stats with his assists (im lazy!)
Just like me, mateMy favourite player for years, can't deny it. I tried to copy him as a kid, bought the first generation predator boots because he wore them, spent hours practising getting his signature curve on deadballs. I probably took better freekicks at 13 than I do now, because of him.
I don't know where can I find it.Anyone care to update his stats with his assists (im lazy!)
Him and Yorke were awesome together in 99 the crosses against the scousers away and inter at home stand out.I think the two best crosses I've seen deliver are one to Ruud against Tottenham at White Hart Lane in the 2002/2003, it wasn't a goal as the Spurs keeper made an outstanding save (Kasey Keller ?) but the curve on the ball was just outstanding. The other one was to Ronaldo at Real Madrid and it was a goal, again some outstanding curve from a midfield cross
@ 3:38, I don't remember seeing that one before, what a pass.
I wouldn't have him back permanently I don't think. Maybe on a loan basis like he did with AC Milan to keep his fitness up for England, in that sense yes I don't see why not. I've always been a fan of Beckham. He's United through and through, he still loves the club to this day (I loved his celebration at the Emirates) and he's still a great player. How many would have him back this summer to replace Ronaldo?
I wouldn't be against the idea, even if he was to only play a bit part
Opinion sharedRegardless of him still playing today 7 years on from being sold Beckham is a UTD legend IMO
Why?
Because he never wanted to leave in the first place and would still be here today had we not wanted rid of him and still to this very day whenever he speaks about UTD you can see that he wishes he was still here and still has love for the club.
One of my favourite ever UTD players
imagine that!!On my first trip to Old Trafford (CL vs Olympiakos, South Stand Tier 3, back row) the thing which stuck in my mind most of all were Beckhams white boots, which were constantly flickering all over the pitch. I had never seen how hard he worked off the ball on TV. He always gave his all, and it's a real shame that he doesn't get credit from the fans. He's been the greatest ambassador of our club since Charlton, and I really hope and believe he will take a part in Uniteds future in some way. If it was up to him he would've played for United all his career. Somewhere in the back of his mind, it's likely he's thinking of ways to buy the club back from the Glazers...
What's his monetery worth now?? 200 - 300 million? He could probably head a consortium of investors (and supporters trusts) to buy the club back. It's gotta be knocking about in his mind.imagine that!!

As much as I do love Beckham, I really don't think he is entertaining any ideas of buying the clubWhat's his monetery worth now?? 200 - 300 million? He could probably head a consortium of investors (and supporters trusts) to buy the club back. It's gotta be knocking about in his mind.
Everyone does.He bleeds red
Yes, I can't see Beckham spending even half of his fortune to buy United. As much as I do love Beckham, I really don't think he is entertaining any ideas of buying the club
