We really have taken over Arsenal's spot as the football worlds favorite punching bagWe've turned into Banter FC.

Imagine how it'll be if they actually win something!Liverpool this, Liverpool that.
It's all a bit tiresome now.
Only thing left now is the CL last 16 humiliation. I pray that PSG have mercy on usWe really have taken over Arsenal's spot as the football worlds favorite punching bag
I think 6-1 on aggregate can't really be called humiliation. Our bar is set terribly low.Only thing left now is the CL last 16 humiliation. I pray that PSG have mercy on us
I'll have to quit my job if Liverpool win the league.Imagine how it'll be if they actually win something!
Don't worry. Nothing is more humiliating than going out to Sevilla like last season.Only thing left now is the CL last 16 humiliation. I pray that PSG have mercy on us
Given our sorry state of defensive football this season, if we try to go for a 0-0 in Paris, we ll lose 3-0 or more and come back. At least last season, we were doing well defensively.Don't worry. Nothing is more humiliating than going out to Sevilla like last season.
I was about to say ,we already crossed the European humiliation threshold last year. This year wouldn't be as embarrassing as it would be expectedDon't worry. Nothing is more humiliating than going out to Sevilla like last season.
newsflash...no one is going to pay 20m for rojo or 20m for darmian either. No one will pay 35-40m for Lingard. You can get that type of player (hardworking, ineffective final third player) for a lot less from some East European club.
Generous.I think 6-1 on aggregate can't really be called humiliation. Our bar is set terribly low.
All because Jose has been terrible, lets not go romanticizing LVG's tenure.Great Post.!
Eric the King, disagreed with mourinhos appointment.
I disagreed, it was obvious he was a bad choice.
No longevity.
Negative anti football.
Disgraceful record as a person, the way he treated the lady doctor, poking a coach in the eye from behind, etc etc.
Wayne Rooney, said he thought things were going in the right direction under LVG and we would of improved, in the third season.
Apparently LVG had changed everything at the club from top to bottom. His possession style may have been boring but his philosophy was identical to Pepe Guardiolas. At least we were developing a playing style, instead of being Stoke City lookalikes.
We have "Fellaini"Generous.
Agree. All because Jose has been terrible, lets not go romanticising LVG's tenure.
LVG did some good things with the club but his style of play especially towards the end was dull, listless and could put you to sleep. He had to go.
Yup, way too much revisionism on here lately regarding LvG’s tenure which was thoroughly shite.Agree.
LVG put a bullet in his own foot.
I blame it on short term memories. If someone asks me Moyes vs LvG 2nd season, I would struggle. Moyes memories have been almost wiped out. Just the occasional startle and a heart pain I feel when someone talks about Moyes "era"Yup, way too much revisionism on here lately regarding LvG’s tenure which was thoroughly shite.
They're active on Instagram though. The clubs official Twitter account has been surprisingly inactive today, I wonder if that is at all relevant.
Or am I clutching at straws?
That's fine, I didn't get my hopes up or anything. They're active on Instagram though.
Clutching at straws at this point. All the replies are about sacking Mournhio or something negative about the club, so they're tweeting less. The clubs official Twitter account has been surprisingly inactive today, I wonder if that is at all relevant.
Or am I clutching at straws?
Unfortunately you are.The clubs official Twitter account has been surprisingly inactive today, I wonder if that is at all relevant.

Given the thousands of leaks we have at the club, any news will be out much before the club would announce anything. That's fine, I didn't get my hopes up or anything.
And I'm not going to cry.
That's a good point as it happens.Given the thousands of leaks we have at the club, any news will be out much before the club would announce anything.
I really hope so. At this point, the board have no reason whatsoever to keep this guy in charge. He has created a horrible atmosphere at the club and even if performances don't immediately improve, the atmosphere surely will. I can't deal with a manager that wants to fight everyone, especially his own players. That's another reason I absolutely do not want Conte at this club, another volatile character - his meltdown at Jose last season was just ridiculous.Articles are coming thick and fast aren't they, smearing the club's image/brand for all to see...…..hopefully the sponsors and shareholders start putting a bit of uncomfortable questioning Woodward's way. Might speed up the process.
Doesn't detract from the fact that most of that article is correct. He's a liverpool fan
If we don't make CL we will lose more money than Jose pay out.No, he would not be here.
If they sack Jose now, it will cost a large sum of money.
If they sack him when CL qualification for next year is impossible, then it's cheaper.
The board are waiting till CL qualification for next year is impossible. As soon as this happens, Jose will most likely be given his marching orders. If the next manager prefers to start in the Summer, then Jose will stay till then.
It would appear that some fans on this forum still have not learned the way our board function. It's all about money. If you can save £15M and get crap results on the pitch, they'll take that option.
Lately I only hope for thatIs he still here?
Not everybody of course. But if you go back to comments and posts on Cafe and even other Man Utd fan forums at the time of his appointment you will find overwhelming support for the appointment. But of course with the bad results and in hindsight many people are now condemning the appointment. I can understand people changing their minds about Jose now, but to say he was always a bad choice is imo dishonest. No, he wasn't! He was always a divisive choice. Many of us (including myself already have been anti-Maureen from the start).
I was listening to TalkSport this evening, they said if he is fired now it's £24m, if he goes next summer it will be £18m. If true, it's much higher than I thought, and probably explains the club's hesitation to go that route.Anyone know how much we are going to pay Mou if we fire him?
Which some posters on here thought wasn't long enoughTo think the payoff was doubled because of that incredibly naive extension. I can't even..
I’ll be honest, I was one of them. How wrong I wasWhich some posters on here thought wasn't long enough
