Got a 2:0 victory against Norwich City which is huge as the top four all dropped points. Next game is against Nottingham Forest which will be a crucial fixture in both teams' hopes for the season. Play Aston Villa after that, who I have an abysmal record against - only bright side is I can't be any lower than 12th after those two matches.

So is there like 20 people from redcafe all managing a team in this league? And if you've been playing this since like 2012, does that not mean you's are on like season 100? Or do you like reset it after so many seasons or whatever. I see Hereford is in the top division so presume this has been the same game going for years? But then someone mentioned Haaland so I'm a bit confused, do players not age in the game or something :S Or does the database get updated frequently with new young players?

There's about 35 people managing a team in the league, we're on season 28 (roughly 2.5 seasons a year as there's league games every Thursday and Sunday and 38 league games in a season). It's the same game going on for years - @RedSky took Hereford from the bottom division to the top, same with @The Stain and Leyton Orient, @Trionz and Darlington etc. There are five divisions so takes a while to get them through the leagues.

Database gets updated frequently with players that are at "external" clubs or free agents and the clubs in the league bid on those players to bring them to the club. Players age in real time, so @RedSky signed Haaland in 2018 when he was 17 and rated 70. Now he's 22 and 95 rated, one of the best in the game. Rating reviews happen sporadically but with the big five leagues (Germany, France, Spain, Italy and England) they're usually twice a year (around December and May).

Quite a lot of us have been involved in the league since 2012. I've been at Manchester United since 8th December 2012 but managed Leeds United from 12th March 2012 until I changed clubs. @Infamous has been at Fulham since 2013, @Big-Red has been at Spurs since September 2012 but managed Crystal Palace from March until taking over there, @RedSky and @Varun have managed various sides and so on.

Southend United are a great example of a side who started out later on (2015) but has managed to put together a successful side finding Timber, De Ligt, Upamecano, Gravenberch, Gnabry and others.
