This Gerson kid is apparently yet to play a single game for Fluminense's first team. There's absolutely nothing that could justify paying 30 million for him at the moment. His injuries, diet and playboy lifestyle scuppered his potential, plus he was really quick back then and the consistent injuries and weight gain affected his speed on mobility which was a massive part of his game. It's a shame as he could have been a brilliant player - not really SAFs fault though.

If you're faking injuries at as a 17 year old so you don't play for your country, faking sickness so you don't have to train on your birthday and overall showing this kind of shit attitude no way you deserve to be successful in anything let alone something that needs so much dedication as football.
