I'm not sure if I always believe these sort of tweets. Why not post the actual Independent article? That guy is a tool who constantly complains on twitter.

I'm not saying it's untrue by the way, would just be better if the actual source was posted.

Inter hope to raise £60m from Icardi sale.
Juventus are currently the only club looking at possibly signing Icardi.

Crystal Palace are holding out for at least £50million up front for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Manchester United close in on a deal for the right-back.
United hope to seal the signing of Wan-Bissaka in the next 48 hours but a fee is still yet to be agreed for the 21-year-old.
The deal is set to reach £60m and will break the transfer record for a British defender.
That is crazy amount for him, no other top club will be in for him anytime soon so why must this club be held to ransom, prefer to get Max Aarons over Bissaka at this point for 20-30 million pound less.

So you would pick a player who has 1 good season in the championship who's completely unproven at Premier League level and pay 30m for him but you think it's crazy to pay 50m for a player who has had a good season in the Premier League and by default has proven that he can cut it at PL level.

It seems no matter who we sign, on this forum their will still be many people whinging. Good young British players is what United need to bring in (as well as established players) and I'm sorry that United haven't been doing this sooner.

Tottenham and City have both been linked with him, even Juventus were linked with him were Cancelo to move, he's very well regarded for good reason.

All those clubs were linked to him in a couple of articles. You seriously think Tottenham or Juve would even think about paying so much for a kid with a season worth of prem experience? You think someone as limited as him in attack would ever interest Pep?

AWB is an extremely limited right back offensively. We're going to be left with two fullbacks in shaw and him that are good defensively but average at best in attack. Top teams have great attacking fullbacks and we're about to pay record amounts for one that definitely wouldn't make the grade at any other top 4 team.

Sam Lee confirmed City's interest, he's their most reliable journalist so maybe you should ask Guardiola what he sees in him.

I'm not getting into another debate about Wan-Bissaka's attacking ability, just pointing out that big clubs have been and are interested in him. Also, just for argument's sake Wan-Bissaka walks into the Chelsea and Tottenham teams (both top 4 teams).

Linked is the key word, no actual bids. City were never going to sign Bissaka with his ability on the ball not being at the level that Guardiola demands and Spurs are not spending 50+ million on a fullback anytime soon.

Dalot. If Dalot had played for Wolves last season for example, he would have look better than AWB, along with better stats! That's just my opinion. Especially when a unknown quantity could cost us most of our budget!
Ole clearly doesn't fancy him there hence the question. I think dalot will be used further forward. Defensively hes suspect.

Random tweet, but this guy reports on Romanian football in some detail.

The Hagi in question is the son of Gheorghe Hagi. Gheorghi manages the team where his son now plays. Another fact to make you feel old is that the son of Rivaldo, Rivaldinho, is also currently on loan at the same club

Barcelona's reserve team have put a 100m euro (£89.2m) release clause on their new signing Mike van Beijnen.

Dutch right-back Van Beijnen, 20, who has played for NAC Breda, PSV Eindhoven and Willem II, has signed a two-year deal with Barcelona B

And has been labeled 'not a football player' by each club. He's the son of Ali Dursun, De Jong's agent. Do the math.

Gheorghe invested half his fortune into creating a club and a very modern football academy. He also appointed Gheorghe Popescu the club's director.

What he's doing for the Romanian football is absolutely beautiful, he is giving his life for it. Half the team that just beat England 4-2 at U21 level comes from his team/academy. In a country where the football world is full of corruption and behind the scenes dirty work, what the guy is doing to keep this sport alive is out of this world.

In regards to his son, he is quite good but he is a bit of a luxury player, needs a team built around him. The talent is there for sure.

The one Romanian player to follow is Razvan Marin, he is a proper proper gem. (Just went to Ajax from Standard).

I don't think I could even achieve this in Football Manager
I know, not going to happen, just showign the point, nobody is irreplacable in our current squad, £100m kitty plus transfers is far from the end of the world and actually losing th elikes of Pogba and Lukaku if money is invested well should be a blessing....However we will probably not sign more than five players if half the squad leave....sadly most of them wont, whether this is the board or management, some people at the club need to wake the hell up
