In Arsenals (alleged) financial situation - it would be very strange if they blow a large portion of their transfermoney on a 29 year old winger whose stats and performances at Porto have been very good but never great.

Jesus, Arsenal are apparently in for Gary fecking Cahill and Brahimi on frees. And people are complaining about our summer.

I would take Gary Cahill here on a free for a season or two, he's better than a majority of our defenders except for maybe Lindelof.

Arsenal's centre back options next season could be Mustafi, Koscielny, Sokratis, Holding and Cahill. That's fecking grim.

What is your definition of technical? cos Lukaku is one of the least technical players ever to have played for united
It's not all about first touch. There are many technical attributes, passing being a big one, Ben Yeddar is awful passing wise as apposed to lukaku who has shown to be a decent passer of the ball.

It's really something isn't it. Big club like Arsenal should have 100m per summer. As bad as our problems are, Arsenal are so much worse, thank god Chelsea have a ban. We'd only fall even further behind.

Pogba target number 1.Reiterated at a meeting last Friday with Florentino. They could include players that Zidane doesn't want

There are no Madrid outcasts that we would swap Pogba for.

Pay up the £160 million or get Eriksen on a discount from Levy.

I'd take Isco and Ceballos in a heartbeat if Pogba has his heart set on leaving. Can't see them wanting to come here though!

Ceballos and Llorente (before he left for Atelti) would have been perfect in restructuring the midfield and getting something like £60m-£80m on top would have been a robbery of Madrid.

Shame we seem to be clueless about looking at those under the radar talents though.

If he’s really there no1 target how have they spent close to £250 million on other players leaving them with insufficient funds to make a bid that would be potentially tempting. Doesn’t sound likes he’s that much of a priority for this summer, they’re seemingly laying the groundwork for next summer.

The arrogance of these pricks. Target number one, but we’re only willing to include players we don’t want to keep.

Can't Woodward just put out a leak that Madrid are skint and their finances are shot? Nothing gets Perez to the bank faster than that.

We've had the same breaking news regarding Pogba about 50 times in the past month.

Isco, Ceballos, Varane or Marcelo are the only 4 really.

Not happening either way.

This is vaguely similar to their pursuit of DDG,y'know the one involving the fax machine kerfuffle on the last day of the transfer window.
All summer we were inundated with reports saying 'Madrid set to sign De Gea' and nothing came to fruition until the last day and even then the deal they offered was underwhelming.

Sorry but I cant help but feel the players Madrid might offer in return for Pogba will be leaving the Bernabeu kicking and screaming.
That's why its money or nothing,as far as I'm concerned.
