If I were you I would avoid mentioning the word "Suarez" and "slim" in.the same sentence
For a somewhat chubby player, he is still quick on the ground. He's much better than Higuain in that regard.

He does look lean, but every year we say he looks leaner than last year. So I suppose he would eventually arrive at one pre-season looking like a footballer. Him looking lean is not the problem, it is him keeping fit.Another day and another player slips away, personally I have always liked Shaw and he's looking lean and ready to go for the new season. I wonder who we will be linked with tomorrow?
My thoughts exactly. By which time he is gasping for air by the time he gets to the opposition box, no wonder he can't get the ball in. Think he is just one of the those people who struggle to keep weight off.I can't remember a season where Shaw didn't "look lean and ready to go" in September. The problem is Christmas time and the 180,000 mince pies the fecker fills himself with before picking up some dodgy injury early on in the new year.
We were never going to accept a buy back clause and would’ve been stupid to do so. Least we know if he lights the place up he won’t be at Spurs for long.Tweet

I'm right there alongside him in that department myself. But I wouldn't want United closing another transfer window with me as their only real left back either. My thoughts exactly. Can you put an accurate cross in?I'm right there alongside him in that department myself. But I wouldn't want United closing another transfer window with me as their only real left back either.
With my left foot yes. With my right I'd genuinely struggle to hit the pitch from a corner. Can you put an accurate cross in?

Would you feel the same if it was a loan deal? Just curiousIf we sign Costa then I’m out for the season
*I’m not really out just underwhelmed
Can't be mad at this at all. Madrid want the luxury of binning a player in favour of getting him back if he's potentially influential. We deny that agreement rightly so and spurs allow themselves to get bent over if necessary when the player becomes useful. Exactly as Juve are doing with De Ligt and Haaland in 24 months time.Tweet

I don’t think he’s that great, but as a loan slightly less upset as he is at least a RWWould you feel the same if it was a loan deal? Just curious
Definitely Perisic. He doesn’t play on the right though which is why the names we’ve leaked as alternatives make little sense.Who's been better then in the past campaign : Costa,Perisic or Bale ?
Perisic I would say, Costa is always injured and Zidane hates Bale.Who's been better then in the past campaign : Costa,Perisic or Bale ?
Except what if he's fantastic and helps Spurs get CL above us this season and next? Spurs can then attract better players than us.Can't be mad at this at all. Given the history with Modric and Bale unless the player declines he will be definitely be playing in London this season.

Why? With Son and Kane their front 3 is stronger than ours.Be glad for him to go to Spurs.
Why in god's name would Real Madrid want Dele Alli?Tweet

Good for them. Why? With Son and Kane their front 3 is stronger than ours.
Why in God’s name would Spurs swap him for a 31yr old washed up Bale? That’s mental on both sidesWhy in god's name would Real Madrid want Dele Alli?
Son and Kane didn't look great against Everton.Good for them.
Now this would be some deal. According to the article, one proposal is for Spurs to get Bale on loan is to have Real Madrid cover 50% of his wages whilst Madrid themselves loan in Dele Alli and cover 100% of his wages. Spurs would pay 300k Pounds/week with 150k covered by Alli going to Madrid.Tweet

Probably the only deal in history that beats Mkhitaryan-Alexis swap. Mind boggling. Why in God’s name would Spurs swap him for a 31yr old washed up Bale? That’s mental on both sides
Very true, there is a very good footballer in there somewhere though, if he keeps fit I would take Shaw all day longHe does look lean, but every year we say he looks leaner than last year. So I suppose he would eventually arrive at one pre-season looking like a footballer. Him looking lean is not the problem, it is him keeping fit.
Really couldn’t give 2 fecks what Spurs do to be honest, Mourinho will burn the place to the ground before he’s gone, probably by January with the shite he’s spouting already.Son and Kane didn't look great against Everton.
He might bend a golf club over Gareth Bale's head.Really couldn’t give 2 fecks what Spurs do to be honest, Mourinho will burn the place to the ground before he’s gone, probably by January with the shite he’s spouting already.
We were warned a few weeks back that transfer activity would be kept low due to the financial crisis being covid etc. In one way it's good business sense but when you see the likes of Chelsea spunking £200m it's fairly hard to take, even arsenal have had an ok window. I guess this coming season will be tough.......Oh wait we still have the likes of Jones, smalling, Jesse and AndreasI've posted very little on transfers. I've tried to stay calm and ignore it as much as possible.
But I'm now panicking. Something ain't right here.
Because one bad game means they’re bad players.Son and Kane didn't look great against Everton.
Think they could be with Jose as manager.Because one bad game means they’re bad players.
