Darmian, Depay and Schweinsteiger all make quite a lot of sense to be fair.Scheiderlin makes too much sense, which is why we won't buy him.
Mitten knows as much as all the other English journos.Mitten dropping a hint there?
But we always make at least one dopey decision every window, this will be one of them.Darmian, Depay and Schweinsteiger all make quite a lot of sense to be fair.
The rediculous problem we had, was that we needed Rooney in midfield because he was better than what we had as plan B's. Feckin waste of that lads abilities & something United should have addressed many years ago.People forget Rooney can be a world class striker if he isn't supporting, his two 30+ goal seasons and numerous 20+ makes me optimistic.
There is also Hernandez so it's going to be interestingWe still need a striker badly, we have like Rooney and Wilson.
He is not?I thought he was in a barber having his haircut at first.
In:Anyone got a recap of what we have currently spent and sold, assuming BS and RVP are done deals?
If we sign all the players we need the squad we have will be out of this world. We can rotate and absorb injuries without losing and strength to our team. We can go for every trophy with the same intent.Chuck in Carrick as an option and that is fantastic.
Absolutely class manI couldn't resist
This is when Woody's master plan is revealed, he's going back to charging by the letter.
Bought (£46,3m)Anyone got a recap of what we have currently spent and sold, assuming BS and RVP are done deals?
That is less than Liverpool want for the little toerag Sterling. In:
Depay - £22m
Darmian - £12m
Schweinsteiger - £15m
Total - £49m
Out:
Nani - £4m
Van Persie - £5m(?)
Total - £9m
Net - £40m. Plenty left to be spent
Real Madrid style rumour in September about how Schweinsteiger & Schneiderlin have already paid for themselves through the sales of the letter S.This is when Woody's master plan is revealed, he's going back to charging by the letter.
At no point did I state he was world class, I was simply questioning your posts about him having frequent long term injuries. You can't back up your opinion as it isn't based on facts. Time to move on...He was either injured or deemed not up to the task of being our starting CB with the games he missed.
Bloody hell - a good ending to the 2nd half of the season does not make Smalling world class. Get a grip..
Surely that's more than 25m per year?Bought (£46,3m)
Memphis:£19m (+ £3m addons)
Bastian: £14,4m
Darmian: £12,9m (+ £1,5m addons)
Sold (£10m)
Nani: £4,25m
Henriquez: read about £1m
Van Persie (close): £4,7m
The big deal is that Falcao, van Persie and Nani probably earned around £500,000 between them, so that saves us £25m a year which we can throw towards the new guys without having to worry about anything.
But When it comes to wages, they should be lower right now.In:
Depay - £22m
Darmian - £12m
Schweinsteiger - £15m
Total - £49m
Out:
Nani - £4m
Van Persie - £5m(?)
Total - £9m
Net - £40m. Plenty left to be spent
If DDG goes and we bring in Kasper Schmeichel....Real Madrid style rumour in September about how Schweinsteiger & Schneiderlin have already paid for themselves through the sales of the letter S.
No idea, just roughly multiplied 500k/week * 52...Surely that's more than 25m per year?
Yes, it is 26mSurely that's more than 25m per year?
Yes, I think Falcao's wage would pretty much cover all 3 compared to last season. But When it comes to wages, they should be lower right now.
I think I'd be OK with smalling and Carrick as a cb pairing, and but only for shit teams who don't press too muchIf we sign Schneiderlin as well we may not sign defender but use Carrick as a ball playing center half

Oh cool. I took a break from the transfer news and just saw it.That's pretty much old news anyway.
You're seriously saying that Smalling hasn't been injury-prone since he signed? At no point did I state he was world class, I was simply questioning your posts about him having frequent long term injuries. You can't back up your opinion as it isn't based on facts. Time to move on...
The game is on BTSports 1 at 4.00 o'clock. What if they say he is on a flight to Manchester? This is very interesting news.
Am I the only one who find this guy really annoying, flipping 'printing machine sighs'.Tweet
