Hopefully United get a good draw. Last round of qualifiers are today & tomorrow.

Possible Group of Death: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Juventus & Borussia Dortmund.

Thought I would put this in the OP as I find it a significant stat:
No teams with starting with the letter 'B' please.

2009: Barcelona, 2010: Besiktas, Bayern, 2011: Barcelona, 2012: Basel, Benfica, Bilbao.

I hope Manchester United draw the teams that I wish them to face in this draw.

I hope we get a tough group to be honest.

It will make ferguson take the games seriously.
We need a good showing in the CL this year after last year.

Not to sound like a spoilt fan, but if there is one thing about our club that I am slightly critical of, is our lack of champions league wins compared to the other big clubs in Europe.

As a result of this, easiest possible group please! Mind you we had an easy group last year and still messed that up, either way we are a stronger team now and can have a decent go this time around I think.

Two strong teams (to watch good European football before quarter-finals...) and a weak one (to get easy six points), please.

By the way, this is the draw with UEFA best goalkeeper/defender/midfielder and striker, isn't it?

Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba then.

I hope we at most get 2 big teams and 1 relatively smaller team in the group.

We realistically should beat the small team home and away and then at least win one and draw one at home against the 2 big teams. That'll be the 10 points minimum that we need.

Does Abramovic choose the winners?

Not every year, actually only in 2007-08, when we won the European Cup and Cech, Terry and Lampard got the awards. Don't expect any Bayern player to get one on Thursday...

I think I speak for the entire Caf when I say that Ferguson should play the strongest team in every group match, blitz the feck out of the opposition, THEN and ONLY THEN, bring on youngsters/players needing match fitness time.

This please. No more giving kids European experience. Blitz the hell out of them, qualify early & then try out with kids.

Schalke would be an entertaining game, I'd love us to draw PSG so I could maybe try to get tickets to go see them at Parc des Princes, and yeah Nordwhatever sounds like they'd enjoy a spanking.

Just hope SAF has a no fecking around this year in Europe, last season was embarassing.

I'd like Valencia, Juventus and Montpellier.

All good teams (although Montpellier are less known than the other two), plus they aren't that far away to travel.

No dicking around in the CL group stage, fielding weak sides and struggling to get through. We need to fix that this season - a good group and playing our best players.

I think I might be one of few to hope that Helsingborg beat Celtic tonight and that we will see United in Sweden again this season!

I'm sure they will manage to squeeze at least one of Roberto Carlos, Zidane, Cannavaro there. Like they always do.
