I don't know if it's normal but it's pretty much what happened when I was eleven, our biology teacher was in charge of sex ed and she was pretty relax so explained us everything. One of them being that porn was fake, that it wasn't necessarily bad and that a lot of people watched it but that it should never be mistaken for reality. She also told girls how to wipe properly.

Educating parents is the way to deal with this. They can block sites via router or software. Plus don't give smartphone too young / and / or use phone provider site blocking.
The internet really is pandoras box and parents really do need to be educated, there is no way to ban porn or control it but there is no doubt its not something young children or teenagers should be watching. The thing is no matter how much you restrict you own childs devices there will always be one kid who can access it. I certainly don't think enough is currently being done and I do think the effects of porn as a whole is underestimated.

Im no prude but the access to hardcore and fetish porn is far to accessible for people who shouldn’t be viewing it.
I preferred the previous idea where we'd go down to the post office and ask them to turn the porn on.

There will be many loopholes, any site that has adult contact should need some sort of verification. Sadly the people making the rules don’t see this whole idea is practically impossible to police, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try.
They'll get it anyway, expect on less reputable sites, likely picking up viruses etc on their pc while they're doing it.
You can get porn on Twitter aswell.

I agree but how easy it is to some sick legal shit online should be totally unacceptable to everyone, imagine turning on ITV and seeing fetish hardcore porn at 12pm. There is literally no difference anymore, kids consume much more online media now that traditional TV.
What we need to do is address is the lack of actual sex education in this country.

The thing is mate it’s not regular sex porn that’s the problem. It’s the hardcore fetish porn that normalises things, how do you educate kids, on gangbangs, BDSM, DDLG, dungeon porn, rape fantasy, street meat, and everything else? *it’s not real* seems to be most peoples go to. The fact is you can’t, there is a reason we have rating certificates for games and movies now.

Anyway none of that changes my opinion, there's no such thing as 'regular sex porn', people are allowed to have fetishes as long as it's not illegal or with anyone who hasn't or isn't capable of giving consent.
If kids are taught safe ways to practice sex, safe ways to protect themselves against STD's, masturbate, ask for consent and understand consent fully etc, then they can understand the difference.
Right now they're repeating the things they see in porn because they think that's the normal thing to do, because they have no other reference of knowledge when it comes to sex.
Of course adults are allowed fetishes, but we should not have to explain that to 10 - 12 year olds. Your saying a female getting railed by 50 guys is the same as 1 on 1 normal sex? My mind boggles.
I don't know about you, but at 11/12 I was taught pregnancy and shown child birth videos, taught about female menstruation (i don't know what the boys were learning, but they separated us by gender for some reason), and STD's - albeit all this 'education' was very bad, after the snickers and immature jokes it wasn't a terrible experience, if anything it didn't go into much depth, and it was literally a two time thing that happened in PE by teachers who were obviously not experts in that field.
There's nothing wrong with making sex education something that is normalised in school, and yeah maybe fetishes aren't taught to 10 year olds, but it becomes a regular enough module that by 15/16 kids are well aware of what they need to know about sex, pregnancy & STD prevention, abortion, childcare, masturbation, sexuality, consent, and yes fetishes.
