And not a single joaoaoaoaoa, dissappointing.
João (John) is still a very common name in PT, just not in this generation I guess. The most amazing is that we don't have a single José in the team. What happened to portuguese stereotypes? The world has changed

How is Spain having so much trouble against Croatia? We beat them 1-0 because we missed tons of goals, it could had been 3 or 4-0.

This kid Gonçalo Ramos has tons of potential. But he mainly played at second division (Championship level) so hard to tell if he's ready to fire. And there's a guy at the bench named Filipe Soares (who by some misterious choice of our manager is not starting) and he is a very dynamic center midfielder. Our CB pair is quite solid and IMHO Porto are not taking advantadge of these young alented defenders they have at their disposal.

Only saw it now. What was the ref drinking at the Spain game? That was never a penalty.

Tbf our midfield is fantastic. Maybe if he was playing at one of the bigger clubs he'd be starting already but I'm still not 100% sure about him, I watched some games after he got linked to Sporting and he wasn't great.

Going by this game it's hard to believe Denmark finished their group with 9 points.

Italy deserved that, they've had the better chances from open play, just sitting far too deep when defending corners.

Poor judgement from Diogo Leite. Surprising because I actually rate hm, but he's been too much time without match play and that costed him.

Big difference in defense IMO, both Gvardiol and Sutalo missed the group stage due to injury. To be fair Spain should have gone two up earlier. Decent first half by Croatia, surprised me a little bit, looked good in possession, but the second half was all about Spain especially when quality players like Puado, Villar and Cucurella came on.

Poor game for Vuskovic who is to blame most for both goals conceded. Shame, he was in very good form recently in his club. Ivanusec could be used by the senior team in Euro more than people expect, he is physically ready to step up.

Also, a special mention to Stipe Biuk (18) who is labeled as the next big thing here in Croatia, came from the bench and earn an equalizing penalty on his debut for Croatia u-21 squad.

What did I told you? Tavares was totally out of position and the CB had to go and try to cover his hole.

So many holes defensively from us. Abdu Conte should be given a chance at leftback and the midfield needs Florentino
