Their secret bank accounts, probably. They’ve tried their best on both Chelsea goals to overrule too. No idea what they were checking for the first

Theyre being told to, its pretty obvious how bad refs have become and pundits are being told to dial back in criticism. Its so bad this season it's almost a write off of a seasonPundits saying its not clear and obvious error now. Where's that line been for months?
And the statement isn’t even challenged or debated, just move on.Pundits saying its not clear and obvious error now. Where's that line been for months?
One, it was but regardless, this “clear and obvious” thing has to be ignored because they’re looking at it too black and white and being selective. If it’s a goal or pen and VAR thinks ref might be wrong, just ask him to have a look at replays/angles.Pundits saying its not clear and obvious error now. Where's that line been for months?
Never a red but in a world where Rashfords is a red this should be too!
Unfortunately not given, and match restarted since it was given a City throw-in instead of a Chelsea freekick, so that handcuffs them I assume. But yea that was annoying.Surely it was a foul on Gallagher in the build up to this?
You’re looking at a still. Isn’t that what we’ve been complaining about? You can take a still of almost any passage of play and there would be a foul in there somehow. Maybe you didn’t watch the match because if you did you would have realized that it’s not a red. Looks like you’re a proponent of VAR .
Not only dropped down (though why lower league clubs should have to suffer is odd… just suspend him for a week?), but in the Preston Coventry game, he made ANOTHER mistake… gave a pen and EFL have come out and agreed not a penalty.I fail to comprehend how a ref is dropped a level down after a major error yet gets a reprieve a week later to officiate the reigning champions match. It reeks of incompetence and gives fuel to other beliefs.
If rashford was a red then context doesn't matter. You’re looking at a still. Isn’t that what we’ve been complaining about? Even in the still it's doubtful it's a red. Whoever's posted that on twitter is using a still taken before the point of contact because this is the angle at which the challenge looks worse. This type of stuff is a bit pathetic and undermines the criticism of actual bad decisions. If rashford was a red then context doesn't matter.
I didn't think Rashfords was a red but loads on here claimed it was endangering an opponent. If that is the case Endo is guilty of the same thing as he goes studs first into the opponents kneeYou’re looking at a still. Isn’t that what we’ve been complaining about? Look at where his put is, he is high up on the players leg with his stoods up, thats dangerous so is a redYou’re looking at a still. Isn’t that what we’ve been complaining about? He barely touches him with the follow through. It isn't dangerous or reckless as the level of force is quite low.Look at where his put is, he is high up on the players leg with his stoods up, thats dangerous so is a red
All apply to Rashford and Casemiro challenges but we've repeatedly been told this is irrelevant by pundits. He barely touches him with the follow through. It isn't dangerous or reckless as the level of force is quite low.
The camera showed the Brentford player’s knee with blood and the mark of the studs. He barely touches him with the follow through. It isn't dangerous or reckless as the level of force is quite low.
I'm dont know who you've been listening to but level of force and words like reckless and dangerous are in the rules. All apply to Rashford and Casemiro challenges but we've repeatedly been told this is irrelevant by pundits.
When Red Cards Are Warranted
1. Serious Foul Play: A red card is issued for actions that constitute serious foul play. This includes tackles that are reckless, involve excessive force, or endanger the safety of an opponent
I've seen the replay and it looked a yellow to me. It certainly wasn't a leg-breaker and breaking the skin doesn't constitute a red card. The camera showed the Brentford player’s knee with blood and the mark of the studs.
In live you could clearly see Endo went in studs up with no control whatsoever and rushing in to make up for a bad first touch.
It was at the very least a yellow and going on by the kind of challenges that were deemed of a red this season, then this one should have been a 100% red
The problem is they didn't show a replay so nobody has any other footage to go off but on comms, someone said it they thought it was a pen. I can't remember who said it now.Honestly and probably purposefully you cannot see anything from that angle and that terrible quality.
Because they are smart enough not to forfeit a match due to not liking the refereeing decisions. Why do managers keep their players on pitch?
This is what you get when clubs don’t go out and say enough. Refuse to play until There is equal chance for teams. Not when you know that ref is on their side.
You serious? City got a goal head start because of a terrible decision. Even if he's perfect for the rest of the game, that's huge.Taylor was ok today, don't have a problem with any of the calls.
Seems people are getting hysterical now even when the referees do fine.
Bit of joint pulling then Cucu is wrong side and puts his hand around his waist to stop him getting to the ball, that's a foul 8 days a week. He wasn't getting to the ball anyway either, which is probably why it was a yellow. Stupid. You serious? City got a goal head start because of a terrible decision. Yeah, that wasn't a red, much the same way Rashford's shouldn't have been a red. You’re looking at a still. Isn’t that what we’ve been complaining about? You can take a still of almost any passage of play and there would be a foul in there somehow. Maybe you didn’t watch the match because if you did you would have realized that it’s not a red. Ofcourse it’s a foul by Cucurella, but isn’t the entire point here that Haaland equally fouls Cucurella in order to get in front of him in the very same sequence of play.Bit of joint pulling then Cucu is wrong side and puts his hand around his waist to stop him getting to the ball, that's a foul 8 days a week. He wasn't getting to the ball anyway either, which is probably why it was a yellow. Stupid.
There both on the floor though, it's not a particularly high challenge nor has it got alot of force behind it.Look at where his put is, he is high up on the players leg with his stoods up, thats dangerous so is a red
Did Endo get a yellow for that tackle? There both on the floor though, it's not a particularly high challenge nor has it got alot of force behind it.
It would be fair to call it careless bordering on reckless so yellow card is fair.
I assumed he did, but just checked and apparently not. So yeah should of been a yellow ref is looking straight at it aswell, poor call from the ref that. VAR can't call for a yellow card and it's not enough for a red in fairness.Did Endo get a yellow for that tackle?
