    De Gea
    Darmian - Bailly - Blind - Shaw
    Pogba - Fellaini
    Lingard - Rooney - Rashford
    Zlatan

Thought Darmian had a few good moments yesterday. I'd give him a shot this week cause I think Valencia picked up a knock. Rashford for Martial. Think Lingard will have a good game against these.

Lingard was the worst player on the pitch in our last EPL game.
And you want to play him again, vs Watford? :wenger:

We'll lose, someone will create a Jose out thread, everything will explode.

Hehehe. I don't think this will happen anytime soon.
Most fans understand that this is basically the last chance saloon for us.
This means that hook or by crook, we need to make it work for Jose.
We cannot keep firing managers, especially when our current manager has a proven record of winning more than almost any other manager in the World.

A little overboard on the doom and gloom boys.

A really tough game this one, especially with the pressure mounting on us and what we have spent. Honestly think we will get everyone back on cloud 9 after this game.

    A few points though....

Micky needs a few games no matter how he is playing, this is new to him and his quality is obvious to see.

Pogba needs the freedom he craves, we need to be playing around him.

Down the wings doesnt seem to be working as well as we would like, using Pogba to break though the middle is something we can try. Ibra to play too, what could go wrong.

At 5/1 I'm tempted to put a fiver on Watford. That way it won't happen and we'll win easy. I'll take one for the team.

yeah but its already panicky here.

We have to play our best/most effective players.

Those who need special treatment, a specific formation, or some games where they play like shit, or they are some any other kind of "special"... send them to the reserves till they become men. They are all millionaires and they have to perform here and now. Not a few months or a few years down the road. We can have patience only for some legends that have given us a lot in the past and have proven their worth to us, like Rooney. The rest of our players should feel the pressure and the hairdryer treatment. If some of our players are pussies, it's better if Jose finds out as soon as possible and sends them home. It's better to have Valencia and Young and know that they'll give it their all here and now, than to have some mickey mouse with the hope that he will turn into the incredible hulk in some parallel universe.

Umm...Is this your version of the reverse jinx thingy?
No. You lost to a really good side and then fouled a Europa league tie. Prior to that you've been looking good. I don't understand all the doom and gloom here, and I love to see you all dooming and glooming. I think you are looking fine. Hopefully I am wrong and you will Moyes it up again Watford.

To be fair, he's only back from injury. I wouldn't have personally started him against City. I think Mata should have been given the nod. He always plays well against City.

Lingard should play in this game. It's Watford. We only beat them 1-0 last time round, but I think we'll bounce back with a big win on the weekend.

Same, everyone is over reacting to everything at the minute. It's not even worth looking at the table until around ten games in.

Want to see us make a statement and really put a convincing performance in. Would love to see a 4-1 or something like that.

It's about time we really let a team in for it.

With Zlatan at the center, United needed good crosser of the ball so that he, Felliani and Pogba can use them with success. United should be playing the following line-up:
    ............................................De Gea....................................................

    ...............................Baily......................Smalling..................................

    .......................................Schneiderlin..................................................

    Valencia (crosser)....................................................................Blind (crosser)

    ..................Herrera................Pogba...............Felliani............................

    ............................Ibrahimovic..........Rashford........................................

You've registered in 1999? I didn't know what internet means back then :D

I would like to see us take the game to Watford. There is no reason why we should go there hoping to play on the counter.

I'd love to share your optimism but did you even watch our Europa match? That was a strong starting 11 with most of our first team regulars and we played even worst than when we were under Van Gaal, not to mention we got completely schooled by City in the first half.

No manager is an overnight fix. In the games before that there were a lot of positive signs.

Conversely, I'd love to share your negativism. But I think it's premature

Wow 5 games into the new season and people are already giving up.

Have two years of van Gaal really destroyed people that much? Or was everyone expecting Mourinho to come in and for us to start winning every game 4 or 5 nil? Come on guys, it's going to take a little while for everyone to settle in to the new regime and the sorts. We were never going to have instant success, no matter how much we spent! If we're still in a crap situation after 15 or 20 games, then yeah, i can understand all the doom and gloom, but after 5 games??

but did you even watch our Europa match? That was a strong starting 11 with most of our first team regulars

Except it wasn't most of the first team starters

Darmian, Smalling, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Rashford and Herrera.

    6/10 outfield players.

Now granted Herrera and Rashford have seen time and played well but they haven't played that much. Rashford before yesterday had only played 60 minutes, which were 2 sub appearances on each side of the international break and Herrera started the fist game of the season because Pogba was suspended but since then had only played 55 minutes before yesterday.

Feyenoord on the other hand i'd imagine fielded the 11 that they have been starting all year.

Not trying to say that absolves them from the performance but there was 6 guys that started yesterday and out of them only 1 had played a full game and it was a month ago.

If you're beginning to wonder whether Watford is beatable, I'm not sure what's going on any more.

    Bemused.

I think the last 2 years have destroyed some peoples confidence, and they believed that with the arrival of Mourinho, things would magically fix themselves overnight.

i don't think anyone expects us to walk the league this season, well, aside from the media who have looked at our signings and think we should have no problem winning it. I think the main aim is to get back into the Champions League and work from there. We'll win the league again in the next 3 years, but for now just getting into the CL is important. As for Watford, i can't see us loosing in all fairness. My guess is that the Feynoord game was more of a chance for the reserve/out of favour players to impress Mourinho, and they failed big time, wouldn't surprise me if we never see a few of them play for us again.

    Martial Zlatan Marcus
    Pogba Ander
    Carrick
    Shaw Blind Bailly Vale

    Rooney will start though.

Was about to post exactly the same line up. We need someone to dictate play and Carrick is the only player we have who can do that.

From my disinterested perspective, I'm not sure you will win the league in the next few years. Liverpool, City, Arsenal look better bets.

Sorry, I don't mean to be negative, but where's the quality?

    Rooney is past his best.
Ibrahimovich is good for one season.
Pogba is not able to do all by himself.

I just don't see where the title champions are coming from.

Weird. I could see why someone rates City as good bets for a title but Arsenal, serial bottlers with a lame duck manager and a squad seriously lacking in character and quality. Nah.

And tipping Liverpool as good bets for the title just smacks of someone who's getting a little carried away based on a couple of games. No one would've tipped Liverpool for a title a few weeks ago, or even after Burnley.[/QUOTE]

These are the kind of games we've been losing last season so let's see if the you can deal with another one of those teams who will come and have a go...

We played with half a new team.
Why are the team tired? They should be fresh and rearing to go!
With disrupted pre-season and hardly much game time so far this season some of the players were off the pace, also the ones that played in the City game after the International break looked tired too.

It's not an excuse thou, we should be putting teams like that to bed pure and simple.
