City are so much further than us. If we're not improving fast, we will fight once more for top 4

We are fighting for top four, we are still fecking shite. I wouldn't be surprised if we finished 5th/6th the way we're playing.

I always dread it when Michael Oliver referees one of our matches. True to form, he's gifted Watford a goal by ignoring a clear foul on Martial - the Watford player wiped him out ffs and that muppet waved play on.

Where have all the people gone who were waxing lyrical about our performance against Southampton last month?

We are worryingly disjointed. And the reality is, we're all hoping that amongst this squad, there is an XI that will click at some point.

We can talk about dropping Rooney, moving Pogba, playing Herrera and so on, but if that doesn't work.....

I'm optimistic that we will click, but by that time we do, we could be well of the pace.

Hoping for a response second half. Three defeats in a week would be damaging.

I have an appalling hangover, I was a massive drunken idiot last night and this game is awful. Not a good day so far.

How has Pogba played overall, good touches? Bad touches? I'm really puzzled why he can't emulate his same form in the opening two matches, where he was holding the ball up and turning players and driving the ball up field.

The defense is not able to send out any meaningful pass forward, they can only so long or semi long balls to either wingers, so Rooney has to come deep to collect the ball, to do something. Not that I think he does much meaning stuffs.

He's shit, but the linesman is blind!

It's really a borderline foul. Got the ball but just barely got any of it. Probably wasn't enough to dispossess him so it's just a tough for the decision for the ref and probably by the letter of the law it's not a foul.

Have we got another couple of hundred million we can keep spending every season to make this squad competitive again in challenging for titles, after all the money over the last few seasons we still look so far off the pace , it is depressing.

I cannot believe that some people still think that just because a player may touch the ball first, it shouldn't be a foul.
Thing is he doesnt even touch the ball first. He touches it after clattering Martial. Was a blatant foul

It's funny, we are asking things of the players that fans can't even produce. Some on here have a fragile mentality, and have lost already. Can we score 2 goals in 45 mins....why not?

I am not sure how so much money can be spent over the last several years and this is what we get in return.

    It's mind boggling.
If you tell a manager that we are hiring you for 3 years and during that time you will spend £300M+.
What trophies do you think you will win in that time?
Any manager with any ambition will say at least 2 league titles and a good run in the CL.

Instead we get an FA Cup and struggling to play against Watford!

We've got to get something out of this game - preferably a win. I don't care who does it or how well we play - we need these players to step it up now! Completely unacceptable from all of them. Can you imagine us struggling to make top four for another season? Fecks sakes

I can't imagine any substitute option drastically changing this game, which is what's needed. My hope lies in Mourinho lighting a fire under them in this team talk.

Why is Fellini getting so much shit? He has been one of our best players this half.

When we made the sub, we should have subbed one Herrera and moved Rooney out left. That would have added more solidity to the team.

Ibra offers nothing to this utd team, take him off and put Rooney up front and bring Carrick on.

    Hahaha oh Christ

People whining at Fellaini but he has had the most touches and passes with 97% accuracy. Hardly the root cause of our problems.

Fellaini was getting stick off the fecking awful BT commentators too for not winning headers even though he'd already won about four.

He's been one of our most solid players, he just is and always will be an easy target.

Judging by the 1st half, it is Watford who are more likely to score.

We've been really, really sloppy. I'm not enjoying the way we play under Mourinho at all.

What the feck are you on about? We played very well against Southampton and very badly against Watford. One doesn't affect the other.

Hey you know that guy who scored about 50 goals last season?

    Yeah, he's the problem.

More replays I see , the more I'm wondering why de gea went for that with his leg. The only place capoue could realistically score was that corner , de Gea should have been setting himself and getting his body behind that. I know he likes those kind of saves , but he's at fault there.
