No matter how much we spend, if we don't have a coach who has tactical knowledge, we are going no where. I can't understand why people still support Ole.

Those of us who have been saying this. This is exactly why. It doesn't matter if we steal a win from now. The fact of the matter is the performances are straight trash.

They truly do. I don't think we've had a worse team in the Premier League. We're never winning again if we don't change patterns of play
No one expects you to take your Ole tinted glasses off so carry on with your blinded nonsense.

Why did we spend £80mil on Sancho? For games like this to break down the opposition and create chances. Cant do that from the bench.

Shame no1 springs to mind other than Conte.

But he has won the Premier League and Serie A.
He‘s an absolute top coach. Nowhere near as “negative” as lots make out. He’d quickly make a massive difference and I think his attitude would shake things up in a good way. His Chelsea and Juventus sides were good to watch and look at what he did with Lukaku at Inter. Would be better than Zidane as I think it’s time United got a proper, serious training ground manager in.

Only way Ole gets sacked is of the fans show signs of getting fed up with the dire performances we put on every week
It's why the Glazers hired him in the first place, idiots will just lap it up and claim Ole will come good because he gets us because he played for us under Sir Alex.

Things would have to get truly awful for the glazers to even consider it. Like 5 losses in 6 games or something..
Nah, the one win in that run of games would be a smash and grab against City or Chelsea that would keep him safe for another few months.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Said all along all Ole can offer is more of the same with better players, that’s simply not enough given the competition. The game plan is basic, the tactics are passive and the man management/motivation doesn’t seem to extend beyond keeping people happy.
That’s essentially it - he’s a ‘yes man’. Both to the players and most crucially to the owners… so both love him, as do the fans due to achievements as a player.

It makes for a very dodgy situation for the club because he’s been indulged with insane spending, the players love him, the owners love him…

But crucially - he’s a crap coach.

He's been shit though.

Sums this team up, signing the wrong players, wrong coach, crap play style. Why I skip half the matches these days

Ole makes it almost impossible to defend him. We truly are awfully coached team, with an immense amount of individual talent that underperforms.

Remember the days when we weren't winning a game at home and the last 15 mins would just be us camped around their box. Now it's us

Swap Sancho in for whoever, it won't make enough of a difference in the long run. Just like signing a midfielder wouldn't.

The gap between our performances and the level that's required is too big to be bridged by just adding in better players.

Not sure why anyone who's been watching closely is surprised. Nothing unusual.

We bypassed our own midfield. Just hoof it up front. I refuse to believe it's the players that do it on their own will. Must be the tactics.

It's time to replace him. We should be able to play better football.

Today is basically the last 3 years in a nutshell. Except there wasn’t any individual moment of brilliance to get us a goal.
