In the end, it's already super soured this relationship, so nothing is going to be amicable going forward I think. So we should pay him and freeze him out instead of treating him like any other player? Why?

Many fans think that he could have been even a better player.Okay, I hear you, and this is then my fundamental point on this matter...
I agree that he has not be perfect as alluded to in my previous post.
And just like you accept, he has a right to see out his contract.
In the end, what I'm not liking is people calling him a disgrace and a the crap his getting for wanting to stay his contract out. If the manager uses him, great, if not, then don't include him in match day squads as if you plan to use him, it's clear that he has no intention to, so then keep him out of the squad entirely, rather than give him an opportunity to "smile" on the bench, which I hardly see a problem with, unless you losing.
In the end, I too would like him to go to another top club and win another trophy or end off on a high, but I can definitely not judge him if he is happy to see out his contract first and at 33 or 34 see if he can have a last hoorah.
Look at players like Souness and Owen. They too have won it all, but it rattles them constantly that the supporters of the teams they did it with have no love for them. The guy has 4 CL trophies, a La Liga, has been the talisman for his national team and led them to their best ever tournament performance (I may be wrong about this one). He’s had a better career than 99% of top level footballers. I doubt he’ll end up regretting anything.
Bale has played the third most minutes of any forwards this season in the league. Whatever the relationship, he's been given his chances, same as anyone else. He's been crap, that's all there is to itBecause as stated, Zidane clearly doesn't want him and doesn't want to play him. Naturally that's what you do when you don't want a player.
See zero point in putting someone on the bench you don't intend on playing.
Surely he can't be that useless. I agree he hasnt always taken his chances when given a start this season.
Look at what he said about James, when asked if he will be staying. "I don't know"
Clearly another one he (more rightfully) doesn't rate and will look to ship out asap. And it's clear that his chances are about up, cause I'd be surprised to see him get a start or a sub in with how many players Real have in his position.
Still doesn't make sense to freeze him outIn the end, it's already super soured this relationship, so nothing is going to be amicable going forward I think.

Speaking from ignorance, and saying a random figure, how much can Bale earn a year, salary + sponsors? 35 million euros ?. Could he more or less keep those sponsors if he goes to another team even if he earns 12 instead of 15 for example?
Bale is not a criminal, and the press has been very tough, like the fans, but they have been with everyone. From Benzema, to Cris or Marcelo, whom they want to retire for years.
I have already gone from exaltation to frustration and now I have been installed in indifference for a while, I already assume that he will not move, but I think he could have managed his career and his last years much better
Well now, he was amazing in 13/14 and 15/16. Did well after getting back to fitness and into the team in the second half of 17/18. 14/15 and 18/19 were disappointing and 16/17 he was injured so much he barely had a chance to contribute, but was generally good the few games he was fitMadrid fans @carvajal @giorno @Vicenterubio are right, Bale has been an overpaid primadonna since day 1. Did well in the cups, but his overall contribution has been way below par for the most expensive player in the world. RM are right to want to get rid, bu Bale is right to want to get paid. The rest is piffles.
Has he justified the money outlay for Madrid? He was brought in for Cristiano Ronaldo money.Bale has played the third most minutes of any forwards this season in the league. Whatever the relationship, he's been given his chances, same as anyone else. He's been crap, that's all there is to it

He's been below par because of injuries. Though i think based on the last two seasons, he looks done as a top player
I mean, instrumental in winning 3 CLHas he justified the money outlay for Madrid? He was brought in for Cristiano Ronaldo money.
Other wingers (Robben, Ribery) get injured and still contribute a lot to the team. Bale's been very sporadic, takes a while to warm up, plays amazing for 4-5 games gets injured for 2 months. Rinse and repeat.
In the end, Bale non vale.
I'm much better informed than you are. What exactly is he doing? And before you answer that, first get your facts on what they have done to him, which caused this entire standoff.
Spectacular, good on you.I'm much better informed than you are.
Yep, totally bales fault how much Madrid paid him in his contract.I don't understand the people that are labelling Madrid as the enemy here. Do people realise that when he signed his last contract, Bale was the best paid player in the world. More than Messi and Ronaldo.
Bale has never achieved what was expected of him. And I can not understand why he would behave so childishly on the bench. If he hates it so much, Madrid would happily sell him to another team.
Third most minutes? He's played 1000, the equivalent of just over 10-12 games. Doesn't seem like a lot unless the others have played very little too?Bale has played the third most minutes of any forwards this season in the league. I think he cares about playing actual matches and enjoys those but doesn't have much of an interest in everything else. It doesn't help that at Madrid he gets a lot of stick from everyone but he also didn't help himself by isolating away from everyone.Bale is clearly a player who plays football for the money whilst not enjoying what he is doing. He has no interest in getting fully fit and working his way back into the team.
I think when you play for Madrid, you have to be ready to be criticised. They were getting on the backs of legends such as Casillas and Ronaldo.I think he cares about playing actual matches and enjoys those but doesn't have much of an interest in everything else. It doesn't help that at Madrid he gets a lot of stick from everyone but he also didn't help himself by isolating away from everyone.
Only fans care about "legacy". Footballers simply do, and Bale has loads of medals and is a national hero.More than all this stuff about morality, it doesn't reflect well on Bale's legacy to be a player to be such an unwanted figure at Madrid. I believe he's overrated by fans who emphasise far too much on Wales and the odd CL match, and would definitely pick Giggs other him. Madrid were even in good shape before Zidane turned things around. Wouldn't that have been the perfect moment for him to become the main man post Ronaldo. Instead it was Benzema who took on that torch with Bale playing clown.
When you have a ‘galatico’ policy you will invariably end up hiring temperamental mercenaries like Bale, just as we’ve found out with the likes of Di Maria and Sánchez. I have no sympathy for Madrid or Bale for this loveless Union.Bale is clearly a player who plays football for the money whilst not enjoying what he is doing. He has no interest in getting fully fit and working his way back into the team.
He is the sort of player you do not want in your squad, seems like a toxic personality. An experienced player like him should be a role model to the Asensio, Vinicious etc.
I do agree with some posts, his career is filled with great individual moments such as CL finals, Copa De Rey etc and has barely produced it for one full season.
I dare say it will take Florida at least 6 months and probably more to get its COVID-19 issue under control.I thought he might scoot off to Inter Miami at somepoint. Lots of nice golf courses in that part of the world. Florida not looking like such an attractive destination right now though.
Well, the less they 'do' the worse they'll be compare to others. Essentially you're not as good a footballer as you otherwise could have been if you spend years on your bum doing feck all.Only fans care about "legacy". Footballers simply do, and Bale has loads of medals and is a national hero.
He wont go to another team that does not pay him what he gets now - Therefore he cant complain when he is benched.Yep, totally bales fault how much Madrid paid him in his contract.
And actually no, they won’t just sell him to another team, as we’ve already seen
Maybe I am wrong but I am sure the headline was that he was being paid the most. When Bale signed his contract (Oct 2016), Ronaldo was still on the contract signed in 2013. He went on to renew a month later though...What? No, Bale was never the best paid player in the world. He was never even the best paid player at real madrid until Cristiano left
That contract was signed in 2016 though
I'll quote myself here "The only thing i'm not sure about is the lenght. Think we should have extended him up to 2020, his injury record is too much of a risk". Bale was the 5th best player in the world at the time, coming off a huge first half of the year and an incredible performance at the euros
He’s not complaining, you are. He’s having a laughHe wont go to another team that does not pay him what he gets now - Therefore he cant complain when he is benched.

Cristiano's 2013 contract was still bigger than Bale's in 2016Maybe I am wrong but I am sure the headline was that he was being paid the most. When Bale signed his contract (Oct 2016), Ronaldo was still on the contract signed in 2013. He went on to renew a month later though...
Exactly, and then people wonder why Bale as most interest at Madrid. That’s totally different to losing interest in footballWhy don't Madrid do what we did with Sanchez? Ask someone to pay a portion of his wages and slag him off. It seemed that last summer they were expecting someone to pay a transfer fees and pay him huge wages/Bale to take a massive pay cut.
Bale may end losing some reputation with fans but why should he care? It was Madrid who decided to give him a huge contract till 2022. If he's unable to play at that level anymore, he's still within his right to collect the wages promised to him and live in a city where he and his family are settled. If anything, their version of Ed Woodward should be under fire for their contract handling process.
