What would be an acceptable offer for Pogba?

How long is his contract going? Two more seasons right?
The way he seems to force it, getting 180M would be a miracle.

People banding around silly prices need to get the head checked, simply take 130 mill, plus addon up to 150 mill and move on, get a least 1 midfielder, personally the kid at Watford, Dacoure, that will give us legs in midfield, and a centre back , forget about right back, try Dalot and Axel Tuanzebe, till Jan with young still about. The club can not afford to have an unmotivated Pogba on the pitch, or even sitting on the bench or Lukaku, playing second fiddle to Rashford.

Get the deal done for Pogba within the next two weeks, sort out Rashfords future and get in a right winger, move Lukaku on even if it is at a loss, 55 mill and addons, as Ole doesn't fancy him.

180m and not a penny less.
We won’t get that - him going public is classic Madrid transfer window behaviour.

Next you’ll see stories he only wants Madrid and the low balling will continue. Realistically, the best we will get is 150m and I don’t think we will even get that.

Based on what they paid for hazard, we should be looking for £150m.

Rather he went to Juventus than Madrid as it would be good to see him with Ronaldo- purely from a football fan perspective.

Maybe they can take Damian too?

Why? He has no leverage. He has 3 years on his contract and it's a Euro year. Even without not that he's not going to waste a year of his career by going on strike. They can either pay up or feck off. We should milk them for every penny.

Whatever it was it’s a bit cheaper now he’s come out and said he wants to leave

Don’t think we’ll get much more than £100m

If we don't get offered more than that then we won't sell him.

Although this peacocking for other teams just makes me want us to get rid and move on.

For once we have the balls of others in our hands. 150m, or he stays here. I wish 150m.
We had it with ronaldo too, though Fergie and gill got completely decived with the 80m cash up front offer. This market is something else.

Hope psg and juventus joins to up the offer and create a bidding war.

Only on cafe we find opinions like buy players for inflated prices and sell assets for as low as we will get.

They don't want him that badly.
They will offer a swop plus 50-60 million GBP. Maybe we can land a few nice players, but we need to make sure they actually want to come to United.
Or even if they don't particularly mind. Because the united razmataz is fading fast.

With two years (plus one) years on his contract then anything short of £150 million would be a travesty. If anything, I’d like to think the club we seek even higher (somewhere closer to £180 million). We hold most of the cards here.

What ever price is, dont accept anything less than that. If they cant pay, they can wait and he can hate it as much as he likes. Real and Zidane acts like they really really really want him, well if so, pay up just like they did for a player who had one year left on his contract. Otherwise keep him regardless of his wishes and for those who will come out with "Oh yea, that will help us to attract other players in the future", nobody gives a feck, majority of them are spineless mercs anyway.

£150m. Next season. Think there will be an agreement between him and the club ala CR7.
We can't afford to lose him, and we need him performing on the pitch.

Then, when he leaves we buy Sancho.

The way the club is going what makes you think we'd be in a position to sign Sancho next season?

He holds a pretty strong card too as his influence on the team might be harmful if he is depserate to leave. Add to that a Raiola shitstorm in the media during the season. Get 130m + 20m add-ons and move on.

It’s time we flex are muscles this summer and put our money where our mouth is. He’s got 3 years on his contract we need to get spending some money and get some top quality players in. We should only sell him when right for us at right price. If he acts up just stick him in the gym on his own. Sick of us getting the Mick taken out of us every summer now

Our best performance was without him in Paris. Get rid for half-decent money 100M would be ok as a minimum.

I'll be sorry to see him go. He's one of the most talented midfielders in the world and with better players around him, I think he'll really reach his potential. (like any good player)
However, I think Solskjaer and the club should be ruthless and gut the squad of anyone who isn't 100% committed. It's the only way we're going to get back on top.

If we get top 4, and there seems to be a direction or an improvement at the club, then he will sign.
Without top 4 we can forget it, and without PP it will be difficult to get top 4 next season.

Are we going to improve or be perceived as a club moving forwards? Not likely.

£130m, just fecking get it over with. Ideally I would try to actually sort some positions out as part of the transfer, and get some players in. Get Asensio as part of the deal to Real Madrid, or a mixture of Dybala and Cancelo from Juve, or something along those lines. You know we aren't going to reinvest the cash, we should be able to spend £300m without sales this summer yet we're probably going to break even at best in terms of transfers this summer.

Considering we’ve so much to do and never have a transfer strategy, therefore wouldn’t replace him, there’s not even any point selling him for £1b

The money would just stay with the club and we’d be fielding McTominay, Fred and Mata as our midfield 3

I'd take what we paid for him, plus maybe a bit extra for the admin!
We made a mistake, the lad is talented and when he wants to he can be unplayable, but we/the manager never know when that is going to be, so we cannot build a team around him. His antics off the pitch don't help.

With a host of real World Class players, in front of him, alongside him and behind him (as he had at Juventus, for a while) then his brilliant but spasmodic performances can be tolerated, even appreciated, but Paul is definitely the "Cherry on top of the cake" and needs an lot of base cake and icing underneath him, which we haven't really got at the moment.

Its a great pity but lets not be stupid about it Paul is unlikely to help Ole rebuild, may even hold him back, so we have to say farewell and wish him well on his way.

If we kept him for another year I have no expectation that he'd actually knuckle down and play for the good of the team. He snit Ronaldo and he's never displayed the attitude the latter had while at United. We should sell and hope to god Woodward manages to bring in a few capable replacements.

What's the point of forcing a player to stay if you can't expect from him consistently good performances throughout the season and professional behaviour in the changing room? Next campaign might be compromised before a ball is kicked off. Build a team of players who want to play for United.
