I think he'll do well. We will get plenty of delivery into the box for him. Bruno, Shaw, Dalot (a little consistent) are all capable of getting it in there, Rashford can beat a man and fire it across if you're in between the posts. Not sure about Antony's delivery yet. But if you're a target man there's enough to work with. Aside from that all he's got to do is occupy centre backs and they'll have to pay attention to a player of his presence in the box which may help people like Bruno, Rashford and Antony to find pockets against low blocks.

Not the long term answer but could be a good mid-season answer because as soon as we lose Martial, who isn't even all that then we have no focal point at all.

Great if true. Definitely the type of player I'd want to play for us. He'd be a very good deal for us I reckon. Have some very positive feeling about this.

He'll be a backup and probably get to play only when our standard game plan doesn't work or if our first choices are unavailable. So if he scores most of the time it'd be when we absolutely need it. A winner, an equaliser. If he can contribute in only 5 goals in the prem imo it'd be a big difference between a top 4 or not.
Think you'll be surprised. Doubt Martial in his current form could stop any semi decent player from taking the no 9 slot.

Think you'll find WW starts out as sub at 60 mins and soon it will be apparent that having a functioning no 9 with amazing pressing skills will unlock Bruno, Rashford, Anthony so much that the situation will invert and Martial will be first sub...

Mind you, he's never flourished with any competition here so maybe it will be WW starting with Elanga as first sub

not the thread for it I know but you are looking at it backwards. Greenwood did nothing to suggest he was not going to be every bit a Man Utd player. The guy was superb and answered every question asked of him at all levels. Had he not have been a criminal, he would have saved us €50/60 million - no doubt about that.
I don't doubt he would be a quality Manchester United player. What I very much doubt is that he was so certain to specifically be be a top level centre-forward by the age of 21 that deliberately signing short term options at CF over the last several seasons with that in mind would be anything other than unbelievably stupid squad building.

I think he will too but just desperately wanted this to be done in time for him to play in these huge league games against top two

Wow, what's this? The fourth stopgap striker in a row since Lukaku left? Should have just kept Ibrahimovic at this point.

Some club confirmation after the game would be nice. Get him on the bench for the weekend.

Can't believe you're signing fecking Weghorst on loan to Besiktas from Burnley.
What the hell is wrong with you.

Alexander Sörloth wasn't available?
It’s a 4 month deal and they couldn’t spend money

It’s another option and Ten Hag probably sees something in him that he feels is worth it

Besitkas needing to find a replacement is a bit.. long no? I wanted Wout on our bench for City game.

Also, be funny if Martial sulks from here.

Should be an interesting signing. I hope he has the Larson impact! Been a long time we got a short term signing bang on.

Assume we will have the same option to buy that Besiktas had in case he is a success.

Im really hoping he gets this move bang on. It will give us some more flexibility in the summer market on who we sign as the proper CF.
