I assume Hussein and Fryers will be back too. Unsure on Brady though. There will be a few selection headaches for McGuinness if so.

Looking forward to the game, hopefully they will play well and provide some positivity to the club.

Its a pretty poor league they're in though with the likes of accrington stanley and morcambe, Wigan are the only other premiership team in it

SAF mentioned Keane as the best player in the last game, and also mentioned Pogba and Petruccio (!!).

Team News:

1. Devlin
2. Massacci
3. Ajose
4. Wootton
5. McGinty
6. Tunnicliffe
7. Cole
8. Pogba
9. Keane
10. Petrucci
11. King

Subs:

12. Fornasier
13. Johnstone
14. Cofie
15. Hussein
16. Lingard

Apparently Ajose is playing left back!

Glad King is there. Was worried by SAFs "out for a long time" comment.

Petrucci captain?

I dont follow the youngsters as much as the reserves, but is he usually captain?

2-0 King

Brilliant curling strike from the left side of the box into the far right corner. I was going to say he looked predictably rusty after his lay off, then he scores a beauty! He turns 18 on Friday apparently.

Petrucci misses a one-on-one, the keeper did well but I expected him to lift it over him, instead he tried to stroke it across into the corner and the keeper saved with his legs. It was far too easy to play him in though, they aren't tracking runners at all and there's a lot of space through the middle of their defence.

A great bit of interplay between Cole and Pogba nearly results in a chance for Cole. Good to see them playing their football and trying a few things.

Great first half for the youngsters, 3 excellent finishes and probably should be at least 5 to the good but for a few wayward finishes. At times the movement and passing has been very good, Petrucci has been very creative and drifting around well, Keane playing the front striker well, Pogba impressing again, Ajose getting forward well and Cole and King a threat from the flanks.

Burnley look a bit out of their depth and have rarely threatened and have struggled physically in particular.

we've been tremendous so far but as good as we are burnley are awful. The two one on ones we missed, they were cut open too easy and petrucci almost got tunnicliffe through with a nice reverse pass but it was blocked.

For all our domination though, would like us to have more strikes on goal. We scored with our first three and a side from the two we missed, we've not had much else.

Game over. Hope we keep the tempo up for the second half.

3-0 at half time 3 excellent goals the first was after Kings cross shot was cleared to the edge of the box and Petrucci ran onto it and struck a beautifully controlled strike into the bottom corner through a lot of bodies. The second was a brilliant strike from King a bit like Welbecks against Derby last year but from a bit more of an angle and the third was a great chipped through ball from Ajose and Keane lobbed the keeper as he came out. Stand out players from the first half has been Petrucci who is looking back to his pre injury style playing some very imaginitive passes. Pogba and Tunnicliffe are looking very good as usual and Ajose has been very good in an unfamiliar position at left back. Larnell Cole is also starting to look very comfortable at this level. I will post the goals later if people are interested
