185,000 p/w and fans that will have his face tattooed on them already. He was clearly delaying the move hoping someone else came in for him. Has it been explained why he wanted out of Arsenal yet?
Probably the case but he'll give some other excuse no doubt.$$$$$$
"As ze boy je always dreamed about playing for Mencheztur Citeh"$$$$$$
If he said that Sky reporters should ask him does he think he can replicate the form of Citys last flying frenchmen Bertay Magoo and see what nonsense he spouts."As ze boy je always dreamed about playing for Mencheztur Citeh"
I predicted that last year, but their CL entry seems to have saved his arse.I have a prediction, Mancini won't last the season. Chelsea are still United's main challengers.
Yep, that League Cup winner's medal will look fecking sharp on his mantlepiece. He also will win trophies at City which would be a lot tougher than at Arsenal.
Don't dismiss Arsenal so easily, wait till Sept 1st. They are a wounded animal just now, and a wounded animal with a shit load of cash and a good nucleus of players (Keeper, Verm, Sagna, Wilshere, Arse-shavings, RVP and this new fella with the klingon head). A couple of astute buys and I think Arsenal will be strong again. He also will win trophies at City which would be a lot tougher than at Arsenal.
Of course we weren't interested in someone who was clearly motivated by astronomical wages and no real sense of loyalty. He's nowhere good enough to be our highest earner, let alone breaking our wage structure completely. He and Shitty deserve each other. This has clearly prove Fergie wasn't even interested in him as all the papers in July proclaimed to be
He's interested in what they can win not what they have won.Yep, that League Cup winner's medal will look fecking sharp on his mantlepiece.
Not denying that. But even if they do, I see City as far better contenders to win titles in the not so distant future. They've got endless pots of cash and will in all likelihood start winning trophies regularly. And if they don't in two years, they'll just go out and buy another truckload of world class players until they start doing it. I just can't see it not happening for them, sadly. Whereas at Arsenal I wouldn't rule them out but their chances are getting slimmer by the season.Don't dismiss Arsenal so easily, wait till Sept 1st. They are a wounded animal just now, and a wounded animal with a shit load of cash and a good nucleus of players (Keeper, Verm, Sagna, Wilshere, Arse-shavings, RVP and this new fella with the klingon head). What's the "this" that proves that Fergie wasn't interested? From Fergie's comments during pre-season it sounded like they'd put feelers out and they'd found out he was going someplace else - that makes it sound like we had some kind of interest, perhaps not strong enough to try and tempt him away once they found out who he was going to and how much they were going to offer him. This has clearly prove Fergie wasn't even interested in him as all the papers in July proclaimed to be
Strange that, because Arsenal and City only agreed a fee yesterday. There were reports that Nasri was waiting for other clubs of his preferred choice to come in with an offer, none did thus the delay of this deal apparently, this 185k was just the icing on the cake. If he had wanted money, this deal would surely have been concluded earlier rather than today
IMO it's just Wenger trying his best to keep his player during pre-season and obviously he could not. Do you not think City wouldn't be able to agree to what Arsenal demanded from the start? It was always going to be around 22-25m that sort of figure anywayStrange that, because Arsenal and City only agreed a fee yesterday.
Nasri has made it clear than he wanted to move to City at close season, and get the pre-season under his belt at City.
Wasn't Chelsea reigning champions when Ashley joined them? Moving from Arsenal to City is, at best, a sidestep, in terms of football quality the past years. He hasn't moved purely for money. Like it or not, moving from Arsenal to City is a step up nowadays. A bit like Cole's move, he hasn't done too badly at Chelsea, has he?
Wrong thread?Pingpong will get booked tonight.
Massive goal.
34 yearsLets see how long they keep that FA Cup winning photo on there.
of course. City will most likely finish second this year and will reach at least quarter-finals of the CL. I'm not sure LeArse will even make the CL this year. Good move for him money and sport-wise.He hasn't moved purely for money. Like it or not, moving from Arsenal to City is a step up nowadays. A bit like Cole's move, he hasn't done too badly at Chelsea, has he?
How would he know about that ?Nari say Arsenal fans aren't as passionate since they moved to the Emirates?
He's not lying.
Omf
They've not got his mouth right on there.
And the League Cup is about all they'll win. He's interested in what they can win not what they have won.
